Mom used to do peach upside down cake. And sometimes we just sliced them and put a blob of vanilla ice cream on top.
 
Good morning, all! Happy Friday! Seeing the notes about repurposed recipe results, and trying to remember how many bushels in a peck (or is it how many pecks in a bushel?) I recognize my great need for caffeinated beverages. The coffee cart is ready, with fresh brewed coffee and hot water for tea, for those who also would benefit from such beverages. Enjoy.

Good morning on this lucky Friday. We're on the move again and look forward to connecting with friends at our next destination.

This destination has been a nice visit. We're in the section of the campground where people can bring their horses because the rest of the park was full. It has been neat in spite of the amount of flies. We have an enthusiastic fly hunter. I'm not sure how successful she has been. She has though been diligent. We've had great visits with family and the forecast thunderstorms at noon did not materialize. Yay.
 
So people in that part of the park were ... :cool: ... horsing around? :LOL:

Weather here is iffy. Still muggy and a 40% chance of showers. Cut the lawn last night and looked like I had just taken a shower. I sweat so easily in this weather. But it couldn't wait. I had already delayed it like 4 days due to rain and other weather nonsense and it was going into hayfield mode. At least all the rain and damp weather is keeping the grass healthy.
 
Greetings! We have made it to the weekend! With thanks for the completion (for now) of medical procedures, dealing with flies, and the critters who hunt them, and the celebration of finding ice cream toppings, let us gather round the cart,chat and imbibe. All is ready.

We arrived safely in North Bay yesterday. We are near the lake so Miss B had a wonderful swim. She was long past due with her last swim being in Lake Superior over a month ago. She's a happy girl. We noticed the much reduced humidity when we stepped out of the truck. That was a welcomed relief. There are also fewer flies, though there is another flying bug, possibly in the fly family. We have cool breezes blowing through the trailer. We are looking forward to visits with friends before we leave tomorrow.
 
I am reading a Patricia Cornwell novel that is presenting the concept of fly bots .... tiny thing that may hover over you and disturb your airs regarding this or that ... and of course the opposing bug that might disturb your Eire as being differentiated by airs!

The decision to follow one or the other lead can cause insane conflicts in the surroundings ... leading to another thread of thought! Thus the fabrication ends up in ragged fringes ...
 
Imagine nature gone insane about the naivete in that surrounding flow of solid, liquid, vapor, or flaming responses to how the intangible item departs and recesses into a place untouchable in the physical domain! Does that sound humane?

Could be flushed down an unseen partisan function in the dark forest ... as made invisible by the crowded trees! Magi-C ... a dark spot ...

Some see this resolved by deleting all trees especially those of upright knowhow about the limbic system that can create a hell 've a state of emotions or lack thereof as we still and return to mindfulness!

Can you imagine spontaneous items appearing without thought ... and a situation exploding into flaming ignorance? It may be a sign of something other ... defective essence without something or other ... just incarnate matter? Said by some gathering to not exist whatsoever ... like fate occurring without our leadership ... and often time goes by like that unacknowledged! --- Timaeus? The representation may alter across diverse dimensions ... as gamma, or a dark sense of how the Shadow only knows ... kind 've out of here implication when knowledge is denied religiously! Is that ignorant recovery or what?

Some learning seems to occur without folk being cognizant ... an unconscious event? Like those folk in the bible roaming the country and getting to know this or that strange things ... there are episodes like that in the ancient scriptures ... what they began to know was sometimes homely and sometimes a beauty ... however darkly we may view this in their far distant future ...

They put names on all these past essences ... as we do disturbances in the open environment today ... and cannot list the things disturbing recessive psyches ... just for the reason ... we do not know! One has to ask "what have we lost?"

Maybe a singular item like a vast sol as abysmal ... bottomless?

Below the horizon event ... I get that image of something peaking over the edge of hard reality of an upcoming Dais or Diet of much not getting necessities because of overflowing emotions and avarice as insane folks enter secessionism ... and demand to rule an insane domain!

Can one control insanity? Thus dark forces created reality outside a virtue of psyche ... insubstantially ... beyond us! Maybe transparent to a mass ... Claire Eddy! Like a swirl in the unseen ... torrents' below deck ... heated vessels? Maybe just ships of fools ...

I grasp that story and sticking to it until something alters!

That's a part of Ontario I have yet to visit. My employer expanded into the region a few years ago (main office in Sudbury with clinics in North Bay and Espanola) but I have never made the trip up to that operation. I have staff who do the road trips now, which is both a blessing and a curse.

Cooler and less humid here this weekend, which is a relief. It hasn't been the hottest weather I have experienced in Southwestern Ontario of late, but probably the longest run of sustained muggy weather in a while.

Off to get my eyes checked today. My insurance for actual glasses is not available until February (we get covered every two years and I got my last pair just before the pandemic hit in 2020). However, my diabetes mandates annual OHIP-funded checks and I'm way overdue. Should have gone in January, but held off because of third wave. And this way, my scrip will still be valid come February (they are good for a year).
 
Just humming along ... oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day .... :-) So nice to throw open the windows today & let the refreshing breeze blow through the house! Hope you all are likewise enjoying this fine day.
 
Just cruising along among those with excessive emotions about their rights ... causing me to wonder and question if there will be anything remaining once the rights eliminate all that's left!

Thus we all go down after displacing the understood support system into an abstract domain ... indicating that a strange power might need to create a place for absolute destruction!

And here we are encouraging the environment towards unbelievable rages and madness ... Ire for short?

Word can be like that too if an individualism (autonomy) doesn't to process foreword in understanding primal expressions that have evolved ...

Like OCH m'n ... where do thoughts go when denied entrance? Good god where do you think ...
 
Welp, that eye appointment pretty much went as expected. Now waiting for a referral to an eye specialist for cataracts. Left eye is probably going to need removal, but the optometrist says one is forming in the right eye, too, so might have to go for both. She thought it would be a month, receptionist says it's more like six right now but she'll do the best she can. Funny thing is, the surgery itself is quite quick and easy now. Getting in with the eye surgeon is what will take time.

Saw the earthquake news on Twitter. They needed another natural disaster like a hole in the head, esp. with the political turmoil already happening. A couple folks from work were down there c. 2018 or 19 helping with providing and rebuilding medical services and things don't seem to have improved since then. We stopped doing that for the past year due to the pandemic.
 
Good morning, all! Driving thru north Ontario is indeed an experience, if you can do it sometime you should. As we shae travel stories and other subjects, let us gather round the coffee cart in spirit, and join in saluting the day with hot beverages. A,, is ready.
