And it's the money, and the cards, and people's tendency to put s**t in their mouth. *to self* "you've just had that f***ing card between your teeth, and now I should swipe it?", or "you've just spit on all those 20s you just gave me, and that's kosher with you?"

Ewww. That's something I have never cleaned, my credit cards. Don't see the point, as they just go back in my wallet which cleaning would be way too difficult. Never ever in my mouth.

Apparently that doesn't bother the numerous customers who clench their optimum card between their teeth, while digging for their payment card or cash, which they will then lick to separate.

If you ever get a BIT concerned about cash, go work in a grocery store for a shift or two.

Been there ... down in the basement of the Hudson's Bay store Winnipeg. A lot of very unkempt persons handing over their coins and small bills if they had them ... pulled out of soiled and worn pockets with soiled and worn hands. Often the bills could not be kept in the register as they smelled of urine. I remember these vulnerable shoppers to this day and how I had to listen to the impatient and rude remarks of the more privileged shoppers that might find themselves inconvenienced by being in line behind them. I had no problem smiling and being as kind as I could to the 'undesirables' ... after serving them I could easily wash my hands ... dealing with the more privileged ... I had to wash my conscience.

Has anybody seen Seeler lately?

Hi Mrs. anteater and others – I am here, mainly following along, lurking rather than posting. Sorry about that – I'd like to contribute more to the interesting discussions that are going on, (WC2 is very important to me),but I don't seem to have the energy to compose and dictate my responses. I am heartened to see that more people seem to be involved recently- some old-timers dropping in. I hope some of them get reinvolved. I miss Pinga.
Being isolated at home during this time off self – isolation, I realize how important an online community can be. At a time when we need to reach out and touch someone, we are told to keep our distance. At a time when we need spiritual care, our churches are locked. At a time when we would like to help others, we are told to stay away. Necessary precautions – yes. But I'm finding it discouraging.

However I am okay. This too will pass. Keep well.

Glad you are okay Seeler. And others. I agree about on-line communities being important social interaction right now. My son started a Facebook page for our community that is called How Can I Help -- Covid 19, and people are being made aware of others in need, and offering assistance. It also provides information, although many place are providing that. Somehow, a grassroots approach is appreciated.

I'm glad you're okay @Seeler. Do take care. Thanks for checking in.

One good thing about all this is I got to visit with some of my knitting buddies up north last night via Zoom. It's very cool.

Our park has closed the common areas now. We can interact with the staff in the office at a distance. Showers and washrooms ate closed. Though they're making special allowances for people who are here and who have no shower in their rigs. So far the laundry room is open. I'm thankful we can still socialize outdoors and keep a safe distance from each other.

These are challenging times indeed.

Some people deny and eliminate change so as to prevent learning stuff ... knowledge is dangerous I've been told!

Then others tell me satyrs and farce do not exist! Anyone read the 100 Year Old Man that disappeared?

Farce Ide is yet beyond us ... oud'a site!

One of my old library school profs passed away. Her husband wrote a book that I was quite fond of, too (I'll see if it's still around so I can get a link). Mrs. M teaches in that program so I tend to hear about these things from her.

Oof, not sure about all of Chemguy's 'projects' right now. One was cleaning up the bonus room - that was needed but he took it further than I expected. All the stuff he pulled out certainly stirred up dust.
He went out and bought little standing shelves to get extra levels in our kitchen cabinets, made a bunch of noise tying to adjust the regular shelving in their to adjust the heights *sigh*

I like the title "accidental" ... as if nothing incidental goes on in the implosions within the entire structure of the eternal world. Stoically this can't happen without Black Holes to fall into ... the non-entity of souls lost? It is over the horizon ...

Real life is so odd in a world that cannot abide with non-entities. If possible make something of nothing. My grandfather was tickled with the concept ... and now he is in my mind as I was told the mind was absolutely nothing (abstract?) if not contemplated! Thus that's how some things come and ghost ... like oster a variation of a word that describes but cannot define the monster in the room or behind in a BUSS! Do elephants suffer oestrous or is it just the enigma of getting over a closed and isolated condition of hormone driven emotions? Thus the eggs at Easter! There is a Nordic Myth about egg trees ... are you familiar with such non-sense?

It is like a KISS in the dark ... as defined in that old country ballad: The Long Black Veil .... something of an entanglement entity ... why I sometimes appear out of-my-tree to confuse the anima ... about which the animus swarms ... it is the Ide as Egos ...

Must be mythical to escape altruism virtually ... to form up what is to be from not being. What one can do with word as it becomes godly ... or ungodly for those that don't like powerful explicits coming from that red-haired mature girl ... imagine Ur dictating!

Mental conditions can be like that to the fixated by beauties! Even Sol was struck by David's Lies ... as they floated on his lyre ...
