Good morning! Coffee time! Hot water for other warm beverages is ready. Indulge, as we admire Tabitha's handiwork!

Contributing some tea biscuits and raspberry jam to the breakfast table.

I remember from childhood the excitement of getting a new quilt that mom had been working on. We would sit on the bed and point out the patchwork – brother's pyjamas, sisters new blouse, mom's apron. So interesting to see the patterns mom could make from her scrap bag. When making our clothes, she saved in any piece of cloth that she could get a 4 inch square from. And she would choose harmonizing colours and patterns to sew together into larger squares that would eventually he sewn together for a quilt top. Then she would add the filling and bottom before beginning the tedious task of quilting. The hours that it took to make a quilt are staggering. But there was also the joy of creating something from practically nothing. Plus the fellowship of friends and neighbours who dropped in to have a 'quilting party.'

Good morning, all! Coffee and tea stand at the ready. The tea biscuits will go well with them, thanks Seeler!

Tea biscuits and raspberry jam sound perfect. Maybe I'll have a nice English Breakfast tea too.
Hope everyone is having the kind of day that is satisfying and content.

I have a quilt like this from my grandmother's collection. The fabrics in it are so interesting - and I wish now that I could know the stories behind each. I haven't been using it, as it is quite worn in places .... but maybe I will dig it up this week .... might be a nice 'nap blanket' on the bed. Thanks for the reminder.

Tea and a biscuit sounds perfect. Got our summer trip booked and survived a blowup at work (not my fault, but my problem since it impacts my department) last week. This week looks good save for some more (but less contentious) work stuff.

Sorry, I popped in and enjoyed a biscuit and raspberry jam and enjoyed them quietly. I'm back for a cup of tea. I've brought some shortbread and and fruit. Help yourself.

It's nice to sit here and enjoy the room.

Good morning, all! Tea and coffee cart is ready and willing. Help yourself, and hope your day gets off to a great beginning.

Imagine creating something from nothing ... sounds like the will of the wisp ... something going on in a vacuous area? Winds in a stilled zone ... at twilight? That's the one druid from ... like words ... impossibly black once made into indelible form!

Authorities will label them lies ... the foundation of presence without future ... or past as gone from the mortal mind! Some extension or projection may be intuitive ...

The sun is shining here - after a night of good rain for the gardens. Thanks for the coffee cart RedBaron! I'm soon off to collect my gardening tools & some plants & head over to the school garden where I volunteer. Today is harvest day as it is the last week of school here. I'm really looking forward to seeing the kids involved in reaping the early rewards of their labour.

And I am off to work shortly. Thurs is the last day for students. Fri is an admin. day-meaning staff should be there but I am off to a friend's wedding in the Kootenays. I have never been to Nelson. Nelson is a hippie town, best known for growing pot.

Large caldron ... or conundrum? Chaos and hemp rules as did the jute on the poor apostleship ... teacher in the down and out?

Scholars go on and on ... continuum of learning is not a seizure ...

Good morning. Thanks for the cart. We're starting the day slow. we're moving to a different site this week so we'll do some stuff to prepare for that today. We're just in a different site for the weekend then back to this one on Monday. The life of living in a fifth wheel. It's good practice for us though to get our packing up and setting up routines smoothed out.
