I completely understand you. I'm also always double-checking if things are rightly charged.I was at the butcher today -- there is a good butcher near my house, that also has stands at St. Lawrence Market,
Picked up a few things, but the prime was a prime rib roast, picked out for Sunday night dinner.
The gentleman who checked me out isn't normally on cash, and we chatted a bit as he had helped me select the roast.
I paid, and was putting away my credit card, and then, I thought, wait, what? that should have been a lot more.
Sure enough, after asking him to check, he hadn't charged me for the roast.
He was surprised that I said something -- the roast was close to $100.
I couldn't imagine not telling him, nor could I have ate that roast in clear conscience.
