Oh hugs, Pinga. That damned disease takes far too many people far too young.

I will sit with you quietly, if you'd like, although, knowing me, it won't be quiet for too long...

Holding you gently in prayer, Pinga. And all those others who are struggling with cancer and death in their circles leading up to Christmas.

Sorry to hear of the death of your friend pinga. Happy tho that you have memories her doing well for a long time before her death. Cancer is such a thief. Having journeyed with cancer yourself, I image such losses seem a bit more personal in some ways. Hugs to you this night.

Oh fleas! We used to occasionally end up with them in the house when we had cats & my husband seemed to be the one who attracted all the biters! I actually used to tease him that he was the one actually bringing them home, not the cats who never when outside!! Mrs.Anteater - hoping none have been left behind at your place as an extra little Xmas gift!!
I didn't want to take a risk and spent the rest of the day until now cleaning. Cookies put off until tomorrow. I've got a VW van cookie cutter ( even with windows) to make some special cookies for junior, who is writing his Service Station Technician exam on Saturday.

Daughter and grandson still can't visit Canada yet...waiting for U.S. paperwork (they are becoming permanent citizens). So, not sure if they can even come over for Christmas. :-( My husband and I go to their place about twice a week to visit (a 100 km round trip). Daughter is on leave from work on our side of the border and anxious to start getting a pay cheque again. Yesterday, grandson had a melt down after our surprise visit. (I went to teach daughter how to make cinnamon buns). He misses everyone so much. And school hasn't been easy for him...picked on by kids on the bus, and hours of homework most nights. My heart is breaking.

I hope this is a good thing. The oxygen assessment I had yesterday at the hospital

showed my oxygen levels are up sitting and walking so I don't need oxygen any more.

I hope they are right. Breathing exercises will control COPD. Anyone know anything about this?

It sounds good but I would have to talk to one of our Respiratory therapists to be sure.

Breathing exercises can help, I remember even noticing a difference when I started the clarinet for band.

If you notice a decrease to your quality of life when you stop, can you request the oxygen back? Or do you need to meet certain criteria for insurance?
