She meant Farmboy, I assume. It's a grocery store chain here in Southwestern Ontario. Perhaps hasn't penetrated the GTA yet?

Guess not. I've never heard of it before. The big stores here are Metro, Sobeys, Loblaw, and Piggly Wiggly.

Okay, not really the last one. I just like saying, "Piggly Wiggly."

Farmboy is a bit smaller and more foodie focussed than the big stores. For instance if you go there for coffee (as Little M sometimes does), instead of Maxwell House and Nescafe, they have whole bean and ground coffees from smaller roasters like Las Chicas and Fire Roasted (local roasters here in London).

Similar to Whole Foods then?

Back to work for me tomorrow. I've enjoyed today off-as a sick day.
My hand ached last night and I'm still on orders to rest it, so one more sick day off seemed in order. (The other one was Thurs). I actually napped this am but have been productive this afternoon. I submitted my Blue Cross receipts. Why o Why can they process diabetes drugs and diabetes test strips electronically but lancets (the pokey things) are always rejected and must be submitted manually?

Interesting. Never had any issues with either strips or lancets and Desjardins, who have been my employer's benefits provider the last five years, are usually a PITA for anything out of the norm. We changed to Sunlife earlier this year but I haven't purchased any strips or lancets since then.

Oh they approve them manually just not electronically.

Which is ridiculous. The only things I have to submit manually now are ones like orthotics that require supporting documentation. Even if I am submitting rather than the provider, I can use a web portal and get paid in a day or two unless there are questions.

Got my new washing machine today- junior got my old one. what a beauty. LG toploader with a glass top. Makesmusic when he is done. Really quiet, low on energy consumption. Adjusts water use according to the size of load.several hours of internet researching for reviews were well worth it.

we found our new washer really got the clothes a lot cleaner too Mrs. Anteater! of course, I can hardly use it - there seem to be way too many buttons to figure out!

Soon our dishwasher needs replacing ... it's making awful groaning sounds these days ... I'd better get on with some research on that next.

Do not buy a Samsung dishwasher. Or any Samsung appliance, really. But especially dishwasher. Or microwave. I've been dealing with error codes and disassembly to unclog and ungunk parts of the dishwasher, microwave (once replaced) and washing machine in the 5 years we've had them. The neighbour's Samsung fridge throws error codes for fun, best I can tell. Their Samsung dishwasher makes all the correct noises, and the dishes look like they did going in.

They make phones. For everything else, they mail it in.
