Gotta love the early morning appointments, more than once I've been told to show up x minutes early, only for the place to not be open yet!
One time when I did that I was the first one there waiting for them to open for a test. They did intake for everyone who was having surgery first though, they didn't get to me for quite some time.
Thanks Mendalla for letting us know.Since I'm not sure everyone in here goes to Last Post and BethAnne rarely leaves it, I'll just drop a mention that BethAnne lost her mother this afternoon. It's been a rough few months for that family and I'm sure support from Wonderfriends would be welcome. Please go there to leave condolences or other messages since she's more likely to see them there than here.
It’s terrible that you were misled. Do you think the doctor was not telling the truth, or left something out, or was s/he not competent at reading the report? Are you thinking of filing a complaint?Oh, and I was operating under the belief I had a cold until I was disabused of that notion by the clinic doctor....

I'm a bit confused with your latest update, do you actually have a respiratory infection (besides the cold) or is it just inflammation or is it too difficult for them to know if it's both or not?No. Some of the view that I had a cold was me. I have to recognize my new normal, which I hope is temporary. I need to take this stuff more seriously. I didn't have all the information I needed to advocate for myself, and Emerg doctors operate differently than doctors in a chemo clinic. I now have more info. If I do land in emerg again, I could call the oncologist on call or, if during business hours, the nurse line at the clinic for another perspective. This is all part of the learning curve.
