Greetings all!
Woke up this morning to a couple of inches of snow . . . and as we head into the afternoon it is still falling. The temperature is hovering above zero, so right now it is still snow . . . but the main roads are all slushy. What will happen is that it wlil freeze overnight and tomorrow (and for the rest of the year) we will face ice everywhere. Hubby went out to shovel sidewalks and said the snow was very wet and heavy. This kind of weather and snow usually brings about someone here having a heart attack or heart issues of some sort.
I went and did my volunteer work at the church offcie this morning . . . took longer than usual as there was a variety of things to deal with. Home for the afternoon and I am going to take the opportunity this afternoon to sit around the Room fireplace and share some of the goodies that are here, cozy up in a chair, visit with a few roomies, and rest, and perhaps nap.
Pinga, I am sorry to hear that dissension of sorts has raised its ugly head in your family/relationships regarding your Dad. Hope it settles down. Human relationships are challenging . . . especially family relationships . . . glad to hear about your special connection time with your son (and your sharing of your special times alone with your son, seeler). I think these one on one times with our children are important. I don't get a lot of them with my son . . . but am going to start doing what I can for them to happen.
Seeler, glad to hear your services went well and you had safe travels throughout. Hope your BIL is doing okay. Glad you sold a few books in the process.
Crazyheart, I think that must be one of the worst things a person could go through . . . having a missing child and never having closure or finding them - always wondering . . .
Have a good afternoon everyone! Blessings!
