Chimneys and wood burning stoves and fireplaces in general are being seen as a liability these days. And a dirty source of heat. We keep a wood burning stove in the workshop to burn scrap. We rarely buy wood anymore. I used to pile 10 cords every year.

we have soooo much wood on our property. We have a small wood burning stove in the kitchen, that I love to light on cold snowy winter days, but, most of the wood is used for campfires.
Can't move it off the property (or shouldn't) due to the emerald ash borer.
