Report from a Sociology Prof. here in Fredericton about heavy handedness at the border ... powerful people do seem to hate any forms of intelligent matter ... take the attitude towards reading and book censure. Then there was the comment about aversion to Grapes of Wrath because of words against the unruly wealth! More winger's though take to flight from the surely earth ... cloudy? That's the future that the determined cannot 4-Zae ...

The Prof may never return to the great country ... humiliating! It is difficult to be that was no matter how good the laborer looks in the blue genes ... sad ...
 
In life it is so hard to deal with the rigid determinates of proud nature ... whereas Us that know we don't know it all have a lot to occupy ourselves with an alternate chaos .. like Kadesh and Cush places where the determined would never go. With so much loose thoughts they would be terrorized ... and thus the state of paranoia where they have lost the will to apprehend know how ... you can see the results creeping up on the body of humanity as a Sea Level Rise ... bad pool ...

However if you are blind to it coming ... idle pass ... like an isolated Wadi ....

Was looking at a home decorating magazine in the library today.

There was a room with a blue color scheme that had a table for two set up with a backgammon board. The board, of course, was blue.

One of the dice cups was sitting beside the board and the other was right on top of it.

The cups are used for rolling the dice onto the surface of the board at the start of each turn. There is NO time in a game of backgammon that a dice cup would be placed on the board.

Made me laugh. Home staging at its finest.
 
OMG. Looking at my den and my bedroom wondering if I'll ever get to the bottom of them. Another mountain of books migrated from the basement upstairs last night. The stuff for sale on kijiji mounts...
 
Bette, I console myself with the following old story:
A man goes to visit a wise man and complains about his house being too small and crowded. The wise man gives him the following advise:
“Take into your house all animals from your barn and then come back to see me after a week” The man does that and returns after the week, desperate. The wise man orders him to put all the animals back into the barn.
The man returns the next day, explaining happily how spacious his house had gotten.

Then Annei MU doesn't get along well with the Annie Maw ... because of previous exposure to wild spaces ... basic psychology! Give the thought some room ...

Good morning! Amusement park rides, heavy handedness at the border, home decor involving backgammon equipment in wrong places, crowded small houses and wise stories, all of this and more comes with us to the Coffee Cart for chat, for support, for enlightenment for all, as we share in spirit, over tea, coffee, and coffee cake. The topic of onanism has popped up again as a subject of possession-ism and what was initially intended to be Charon as Selene ... Moe 'ns up! Beau-Tae?

One has to come to grips with this problem as OCD in the greater psyche that some unknown force out there has imposed on the mortal side of the tale ... talus? Stories unheard of ... we haven't seen much yet of what is ultimately unknown for pious cause ... barriers, blockages Behr followings? Naked truth is difficult given all that is laid out ... alternate conspiracies ...

Always an other side expresses itself about containment , etc. exceptions proliferate without governing from all sides ... thus bias ...

Can one escape such matter? Guess ... there may be many words for what's out there ...
 
It is a cool wet day here today. I was in the garden planting my new perennials from Northlands, and cleaning out the weed trees yesterday. The new plants will love the new rain, and the older bed will appreciate the improved amount of light.

@BetteTheRed , hope that your basement is now starting to show improvement, and it is good that you have room to bring stuff up from there. Was there much mouse damage in the basement items? That was what I did not like about sorting through attic items.

@Nancy days with grandkids are awesome. We had a wonderful day on Monday, celebrating my daughter-in-law, and having a nice long visit.

I'm torn between baking, and working on the books today. Maybe will do a bit of both.

Bette, decluttering is a huge job. I wish we could help. It is also very therapeutic. Keep plugging away.

Well I talked to the manager/owner of the RV Park and it does seem he recognizes the severity of the incident with Baela. He seems to see it was an attack, not an unfortunate accident. It was nice to talk to him. He also told us the people haven't booked in for the fall and that we can ask when we check in when we return. I thanked him for that.

Hubby called animal control. It sounds like they did respond and that they saw a man beating on a pit bull. They removed the dog and apparently it was put down. The animal control guy was going to call back to confirm. We wondered if the owners of the attacking dog swapped him out or got another dog. We wouldn't put it past them.

I'm feeling better with that info anyway.
 
So many books.

@Jayne, not much mouse damage downstairs. We have minor mold issues down there. My boarder's end of the basement is quite dry, the opposite end is a bit dampish.

It's all getting down to smaller spaces.

Got rid of 4 tire rims today. But I've moved them at least three times.
 
We checked with friends still in the park and learned the dog is still there. We suspect it was his brother who was put down. There are pieces of information that match from what the dog's owner told us and what the animal control guy said. Hopefully the animal control guy will call back with more info and hubby can let him know what we learned.

Dog is healing well. She gets to go swimming now. I'm going to take her to Bosleys (Pet Valu) to give her a bath soon.

Good morning! How is everyone? Ongoing house decluttering, dogs healing up enough to go swimming, gardening activities, and all the other things that come to mind, all come with us as we gather round the Coffee Cart, where there is tea to help and coffee in time of need (wild, probably inaccurate paraphrase from the letter to the Hebrews.) This morning we have some brownies and squares to enjoy along with our beverages. May our conversations be helpful, our support genuine, and our camaraderie deepened. Coffee is fresh brewed, tea water ready, and goodies warm from the oven. Come in and share in the conversations! All is ready, all are welcome!

Presently what do we know for sure about good, bad, etc. is it inscrutable when your right in the condition?

Good morning. Hubby will be golfing today so dog and I will be hanging out together. I think a walk will be in order. Likely some tasks around the house. Something seems to have died in the fridge so I'll have to address that. After coffee.

I just saw there are fires not far from @KayTheCurler. I hope all is well in the Curler household. Sending hugs.
 
Back to the decluttering talk. I agree with @Northwind that it can actually be fun.

Two ideas that really helped me.

1. The concept of curating a collection vs simply downsizing it.

2. Use what you have decorating
There is a book by this name. Basically it means not buying anything if you can use what you have already. Using things for a different purpose and/ moving them around.

It's still a lot of work though. And it's much easier to send stuff to donation rather than trying to sell it.
