So you're cooking the ingredients? I've usually just dumped stuff all in the blender. But that's using canned chick peas, not usually any onions or bay leaves. I'm sure it will be great! So many variations are possible.I've been using the Instant Pot more frequently lately. Today there are chick peas, garlic, onion and bay leaves in it. They will become hummous. The hummous turned out good. I forgot to put the tahini in it at first. It seemed a bit flat. It's much better with the tahini. Here's a virtual bowl with a selection of crackers and breads to enjoy.
No tahini? Peanut butter a great substitute (make sure it's one with no sugar).
Thanks Redbaron....I like warm and comfortable. Today I participate in the first session of a Bible Study on the Sermon on the Mount. It is supposed to last 9 weeks and involves a fair bit of homework. I read the Matthew passage over coffee this morning and I think....only 9 weeks? Seems it warrants even more time than that!
That sure does sound amazing!! So glad you had a wonderful family gathering.I can't believe that the baby I held in my arms many years ago is now a grandmother.
