Beautiful sunny day in NS today. I cleaned up the catio and then spend the rest of the afternoon to clean the car. It was purchased in January 2021, I think I cleaned the inside once since, after transporting building materials and a straw bale ( for decoration and later for the strawberries), it really was time.
The neighbours have decided to move i to an assisted living place, so their daughter was cleaning out their shed- and I got a couple of extras for my shed….
I suppose it was clean up day- but why does it always get messier before it gets better?

Ain't that ridiculous. I tried several approaches including quotation marks. Nothing escaped their filter.
 
Fall is here, didn't feel like it earlier this week. My parents didn't really get it, trees still have leaves, flowers still colourful. I got pictures today of the snow dump, they have to shake it off the leaved trees.
 
It is quite warm for late October here but the trails in our little valley are now hidden under blankets of leaves. As are parts of my backyard. So definitely Fall, even if it did not feel like it today.
 
I'm dying to post 'homo' on Facebook just to try it out!
It's been a week here....husband experiencing pain, mom's dementia worsening, niece with eating disorder getting worse by the minute, one sister on the verge of a nervous breakdown. So...my other sister and I resorted to wine; we took mom for a drive into nature; and the niece went a whole day without purging. Life sure hands you challenges, but we just keep plugging away. On Monday, I fill out the forms to get Mom on a wait-list for assisted living.

It is all in de light ... some say lambda ... which seems to raise contempt too ... because of some empire-like spin!

Then we lie here in the morning watching it vegetate ... obviously in the dark and thus obtuse as enigma that can't be reasoned unless you get out ... as J Reeves sung Its Time to Go!

Can you imagine the tense and stress applied by the edifice as institutionalized or fixed? Thus the stink flies ...

Such a list of things for you to handle Nancy. Sometimes it almost seems like life 'picks on' certain people for a while! Hope it all resolves satisfactorily before you become too tired.
I recall people saying stuff like "I don't know how you cope" when dealing with tough stuff in my life. Eventually I started replying "I didn't know there was a choice".
 
Wine and a walk in nature seem like good options when you're facing so much Nancy.

I spent yesterday afternoon working on a sewing project that gave me challenges. I guess that's part of the process. It will take time.

It was zero this morning when I woke up. The furnace is on for the first time. We've been using a space heater a bit in the living area for the last couple days.
 
Good morning! Happy Monday! As the walks in nature and wine bring comfort, sewing projects are in process, and all the other stuff that happens, happens, the coffee cart is up and running, for you to take a break from it all for a bit. Seats are comfy, cushions are fluffed, tea and coffee is ready. C'mon by.
