Well Truss has a little less of a platform now. Maybe she can mentor Smith?

We rejoice in wise software decisions, ponder using wood chips as an alternative to propane, think of those who talk, like the scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz, seemingly without an independent brain, and may other things. I get a lot of mileage over the joke that I suggested the software, but it's Mendy who keeps it running. Let's face it, I just wanted to show up the UCCan over how bad their websites were and how we could do so much better on a shoestring budget.

One of the difficult enigma's that develops with authority has too much power over the bottom line that they do not understand ... lessor folk?

These are not allowed possession of anything ... providing the concept of peasant or other metaphor for created poverty by accrued wealth ... I am not addressing those doing a little better but those grabbing 98% for reasons that makes no sense other than to buy more power ... in the sense of dx/dt ... if time is removed from the wealthy ... do they get dx'd? That's enough to make the wealthy insecure with a lot of poor folk and they can't see it coming ... like a fish in water ... and the corollary Ares!
 
It is a rainy day here and that is great. We've been back on the island since mid-August and this is the first rain we've had. It will be a sewing afternoon for me. I got my fifth covid vaccine and my flu shot on Wednesday and felt kind of cruddy yesterday. I feel much better today
 
Yes Northwind - I too felt not great on the day after my flu shot this year, but only for a day, thankfully. Glad you're feeling better & BC is getting some much needed rain.

I spent several hours sewing this afternoon. I had the stamina to do it today. I wouldn't have managed yesterday. It rained through much of the day today.

Well that's as mysterious as the message from the Dark Prince about overwhelming powers ... general un satisfaction in the mess because of unreasonable desires? The unseen icon was overblown temptation as used by ad m'n and adders ... snake oil peddling as slick? Imagine blind belief systems ... at that reason goes J Dais/Deis/De'd issue! Questions arrested ... Sah resting? Thus word is laid out ... as indication not an end ... a sigh in the stinking forest? So many ph'r moans ... maybe just a grunt ...

The military makes place for grunts ... weis heits ... they rise to the come down!
 
B is making a lemon pie to take to Verdun tomorrow. I will be doing dishes and washing floors before doing yard work. The low last night was supposed to be 10. We had a hard frost and our dahlias are almost certainly done now for the year.
 
Who will dahlia round them?

Abd the word was John, said to be God in vernacular ... or common! Common Law? Don't bet on it given the corruption ... part of the dealer ... John Cash (of the other kind).

It's a glorious autumn morning here - bight sunshine & crisp temps, but heading upward quickly. No frost, thanks to our proximity to Lake Ontario. I'm soon off to collect some perennial sweet pea vine seeds from someone who offered them on my local freecycle group. They were a favourite of my mom & I hope I will be able to successfully germinate & grow some in my school garden - which will be my next stop. Have some fall tidy up to day, some organic matter to dig into the soil (it is TERRIBLE over there!). Will hopefully pick some arugula, and perhaps some beans, check for any late summer squash ready for harvest. Then ... who knows what the rest of the day will bring.
 
Yes it's a great day in this part of the province. Mild temperature, clear sky and lots of autumn color. So nice
 
It looks like the dahlias did not freeze other than a couple of leaves but need it to warm up more before I can be sure. The bud on the hibiscus still looks okay as well. I need to make a better shelter for them. Next week is supposed to be mild weather. Would like them to bloom until the end of October.

Thursday evening, after an encouraging comment on one of my posts, I decided to download all my posts on two of my Facebook pages in preparing to compose a collection of my writing. The pages are Belief and Experience in a World of Possibilities and Probabilities, and Discussion of Books by Yuval Harari. I tried to title that page a discussion of Homo Deus but Facebook does not allow posts with the word Homo in their title. I plan to post pieces of those on WC2.

Holy s---, seriously? That place is more eff'd than I thought. So I can't post about being a member of the species Homo Sapiens? :rolleyes:

Anyhow, if FB's loss turns into our gain, I'm good with that. :giggle:
 
Homo Sapient is doomed with the Sentient stage ... a passing phase if you can follow (salient) it as taking a bottoms up prospect as in Tao of Po*Ba ... so many gaps t fill in ... also seen in large stretches of DNA/RNA that are seen as not serving any purpose. What if this is just not revealed to us? Evidence of abstract psyche ... the vast unknown as denied by those claiming to know all? The one descends into the pool where all is shared ... like under that bridge; Tallahassee? It is a hassle to some to wake --- Fine Again! Then Karies can also be missing parts of toot hums ...

The great mystery's presentation of us inductees to chaos of human distortion ... torte law? Pi continues ...
