My woes are little in comparison, chansen. Hope you find moments of peace and thoughtfulness to help you through this tough time.
Sounds like the flu bug, Pinga. Hope you feel better soon.
More about the janitor...He's a strange duck in some ways (aren't we all), but he likes to outwit, outsmart and get even with people. For some reason, I became his new target and he started doing some bizarre things. At one point he bullied one of my students (he shows a lot of anger sometimes), but I put a quick stop to that. Maybe that's why he's out to get me! Anyway, he only growled at me for a couple of days after the bathroom lock incident, and wouldn't speak even when I tried to speak to him (to thank him for the new lock on the bathroom door). Plus he started 'cleaning' my room while the kids were still eating lunch, instead of waiting 5 minutes like previously arranged). I contacted my union to say that I didn't think I should have to look over my shoulder to see what he was going to do next to me. I think that fear got to the principal, and the janitor changed his ways a bit. I've usually had a decent relationship with him, but he's the kind who would take offense to anyone trying to correct him.
On a good note, my class was angelic today...learning, laughing, working, caring...just the way I like it!
