Gift limit is suggested to be about $20, although there is no minimum and homemade and regifts are welcome!

Well as I figure it, it takes nearly a month to chatter about it.

My answer: all early gifts ( parcels from Germany as well) go under the tree until December 24th. No peeking. Official gift opening is after church December 24th as it is custom in Germany.
