Well, that is a hard one. I will wait for this one, but the others .. well??? not do sure.

Some end up being that they would hove been useful for Christmas and end up waiting for a year.
But then there are the 12 days of Christmas. Sometimes one a day is like a boost toward the big
day when I am often alone.
But secret Santa is safe till the 25th a minute after midnight.... Growing up we never opened them till after the Queen made her speech. Just our stockings very early... but that is all. Now maybe that's a reason I am not adverse to opening them and
enjoying them ahead. Hmmmm?

Question to all:
If you get your gift early- will you open it right away?

My answer: all early gifts ( parcels from Germany as well) go under the tree until December 24th. No peeking. Official gift opening is after church December 24th as it is custom in Germany.

Morning of December 25 was always my family's time for opening gifts back home in Canada.

Now that Yobo and I are in South Korea, I expect that anything sent by post may not arrive here until well into January.

If it arrives when I'm here, I'll probably open it early. We'll be with Chemguy's family for the 24th/25th. I don't know specific dates yet.
If I get it after getting back, we'll see what the plans are with my family. If it's just Chemguy and I, I'll wait for Ukrainian Christmas. I think we're going to try to have a Christmas celebration with the kids though, and then it becomes all about them so I'll pass on waiting.

Hang in there Jae.
One of my nieces taught in South Korea for three years. Loved it but also got involved in rights for the more
un-abled folks. Went to rallies. Lie many places we all have catching up to do with Human rights and allowing
people to be who they are.

From what I've seen and heard, Korea is behind Canada in catching up. It is doing it though. Props to your niece and people like her.

She also straightened me out on the way the News is here... and there.
It is not the same... quite a bit of propaganda being fed to us. Interesting to find that out.

I gave a cat catnip once and the cat came in from another room but knew. He found the bag and went straight for it and his nose nosed it out. He then proceeded to unwrap it fairly carefully actually, then once opened rolled in it and simply got drunk on the smell of it. Then it was taken away till the next day so he do it all over again. He didn't care as by then he'd had his fill.

He had been far enough away till he got close and into the room. His nose did him proud as a feline might put it.
He wasn't going to be driving... good job. But some cats get almost sick on cat nip, so they need another kind of gift
.. high. Cats also love spider plants and they're good for their digestion. And clean the air.

Cats can be sensitive to such things. Like humans and drugs, or certain foods. Kittens would be more affected than adult cats.
They may be drawn to it, but find it too much. I guess they are as uniquely made as we are.

Every animal plays... pretty neat.

Good warning. I sent Nutmeg a little sample of local fresh catnip last year; did not hear that it caused problems, but it occurs to me that it might have...
No problems :3
Two of our kids love em. One doesn't seem to even consider it (he's the super laid back Owen Wilson cuddleslut of the Trinity).
Nutmeg is just judicious with the catnip (and the Queen unfortunately is a mean "drunk" just to Nutmeg but not me for some reason)

Lovely and thoughtful presents, again,

Oh, Lexa is not sensitive to it, what I was trying to say was, that,if there was any catnip in the parcel I am leaving under the tree to wait for Christmas, the cat would take apart the parcel and possibly the tree as well....
