I think my trip down East is postponed another year. Makes me sad. Don't think I'll be able to go "home", either.

I read that too, they still are not sure how long it will last beyond the 8 months or if immunity would even last a lifetime like measles:Just spoke to a former colleague in Berlin Germany. She said she had Corona in February. Just a bit of cold symptoms at first and her physician didn’t think it was Covid but did a test anyway, which turned out positive. She is in her 80 ties. She felt tired for weeks and also had breathing problems later, dragging out for almost a month. Thankfully did not need to go t hospital. Was told that they are thinking infected people would have antibodies protecting them for at least 8 months, so didn’t get the vaccination.
Seems to me the "waves" are purely man made by stopping "lockdowns" or whatever name anyone wants to use, too prematurely. And the third wave continues to roll through London. We hit 78 positives yesterday, the worst since we hit 82 on January 19, in the throes of the second wave. Hope this is the last wave.
