Though now that the vaccine is widely available and used, this spike may be less severe than earlier spikes. But a spike there shall be. Thanks again, PCO.
 
The unseen reoccurs as a resurrection of an old bit of information/data/intelligence djinn-ai like code?

Maybe for a future set of animals with improved animus ... that are not so easily divined by fear of the gods ... emotional folk? Stir them further but in places where the apoplexy affects only the subjective ... and doesn't set fire to the borderline fringes ...

So much lost in the extended myths that we are directed to aus void (trail-ians)? The down under icon ... little understood affect of criminalization of those struggling for a loaf of bread ... consequence ... stealing to survive as do urchins ... thorny issue of aborted desires without continuance ... screw-up goes on ... due to folk that believe they have everything in control and they they have nothing of the sort due to emotional complexity! Chaos?

Only if I could wake up some forms of inert matter ... becoming immaterial ... an essence as Jew Cid in some souls ... head parts!

Imagine this vapour in the upper regions ... esteem or overly proud bowies?

The general public is under the misconception that Covid disappears in hot weather....one just has to look at the warmer countries that got it during the winter.
 
Between 85 and 90% of people have at least shot. Over 60% have at least two shots. Probably about 80% of the unvaccinated have gotten one of the versions of Covid. Over 90% of people have some degree of protection. While lots will get sick, a smaller percentage of them will be hospitalized or die. If we can have decent summer weather, people should be mostly socializing outside and in well ventilated spaces. Balancing all health issues including mental and social well being means it is probably best to let people make their own decisions. Now that there are no Canadian teams in the hockey playoffs, we should have fewer super spreader events. I will stay wear my mask in grocery stores and the like

In Canada, we do see seasonal trends though.
In winter, we tend to be indoors much more.
In the summer, we tend to be outside.
Likely also other things beside behaviour that contribute too, like dry nasal passages.
Countries much hotter than here may see more congregation indoors during their hottest months.

I agree though, some take lower cases to mean no cases. It's still spreading during the summer.
 
Ugh starting Wednesday Alberta has no laws against COVID. I wasn't expecting this as I hadn't heard much being discussed about dropping the little there was, need to check details more.
No isolation if positive, no masking laws.
Looks like healthcare facilities may still have rules but I don't think they are backed by any laws.

As usual we are on our own as if freed! Except for a lot of archaic laws that are lost to understanding ... just to demonstrate the unknown as it explodes ...

Who knows?

The BLM protestriots in 2020 in EWEESSEH didnt result in rise of the virus? And rememebr that was when thousands of peeps were cheek to jowel. Not all were wearing masks

Also its in the animal population now. And we cant vaccinate deer.

Scientists are currently studying this as this is so new...


Thank goodness for the USA Operation Warp Speed--they saved so many peeps with that Manhatten Project 2. Now we have to learn how to live with the bug. And the long term effects of both bug and all tech and mitigations...

Good thing we have schmart peeps keeping atop this
 
Realize there are limits to all things physical in matter ... thus immaterial ... energy? Wouldn't that burn the still as it bubbles ... do not burn the still as it creates toxins from what was al co hol ... the zero drag? Drink that and yerd ead in the pool --- La ais Mac Beth ... seconded?

Actually, we are up to six approved vaccines:

COVID-19 Vaccines: Authorized vaccines - Canada.ca

Information on authorized vaccines, types of vaccines, on-going safety monitoring and more.

Or are you referring to the "4th shot" discussions. That depends on who you are.

It basically breaks down to:

2 shots initial
1 booster or third shot (most get booster, some immunocompromised and similar get a full third shot)
1 second booster or fourth shot (currently mostly restricted to seniors, immunocomprised, etc. In Ontario, for instance, you have be over 60 or in an at-risk health group)

For a total of 4 if you are in a group eligible for the second booster. Of course it breaks down a bit differently if your initial was Janssen, which is only a single shot initial.

So does anyone know the LD50 of these 6 vaccines, if applicable?
 
So, Nova Scotia is now giving up every precaution except for in hospitals, while strongly recommending masking. But- people don’t have to isolate anymore. That really sends the wrong picture. People think that covid is no more than a cold and the vulnerable are no longer protected.
 
I'm finding this quite frightening. My neighbour across the street, a junior senior, a little older than I, just spent 2 weeks on a tour of Newfoundland with her sister. Exposed to COVID-19 in the plane on the way home (a week ago), she got infected and will be self-isolating until 48 hours after a negative test. I've been grocery-shopping for her, and she said today that she'd been feeling better until she put away her little bag of groceries and felt quite dizzy. She's double-vaxxed AND double boostered and in pretty good shape for her age (moderate hiker, birder). Between long COVID and the potential bad effects of multiple infections, I do not want to get this.
 
I’m going to forgive myself for being very wary of world powers intentions with this one, at the very beginning. I was off base.

I’ve met people in Vancouver who were the opposite. They were the first to mask up diligently before it was mandated - but are now on the conspiracy convoy side of things.

I’m now of the crowd that isn’t impressed with Bonnie Henry and Adrian Dix for the above reasons. It seems like she started out ok but now just wants to preserve her image and status/ save face/ save herself from facing any regret. There is a lot of hushing of what isn’t convenient for those in charge, being done to voices to the left of the political spectrum, representing marginalized people on several issues. Because of the far right’s machinations/ antics, valid political dissent and concern is being dismissed in a kind of neoliberal power grab/ cling.

Agreed. I was sick enough for about three days. Still dealing with some fatigue that varies from day to day. And I am generally quite fit and generally resistant to getting sick.
