I think Canada has (had) a healthy society. BC had a healthier population, except I worry about the homeless. Italy has other factors...politics not withstanding. They have a far right defacto leader. Who really knows what biased decisions are being made there. They first tried to tie this to the migrant crisis because the leadership is racist and xenophobic. They also have very old decaying (as lively as they look) buildings and narrow pedestrian streets where it could pass. Possibly poorer hygiene among the elderly (men I read were at higher risk partly due to hand washing) ... and in some really old villas, less access to running water, so it’s not entirely their fault. Same with Spain...old parts Europe have lots of pedestrian streets and also they do have more pda tendencies, culturally, in parts of Europe, that are harder to break.
