We've been watching a lot of Paw Patrol. Season 5 dropped recently. If I have to watch any more of it I will throw the Roku into the river.
I'll take Paw Patrol over the Bumble Nums or Pocoyo (although I think that may be bumped down the playlists).
The oldest has already started the path that Chemguy drives me nuts with - watching other people play. With Chemguy it's video games, on the computer and on his phone he's often watching videos of other people playing video games o_O. With my nephew it's things like playdoh unpacking and playing videos.

We watched Suburbicon last night. It was a strange and slightly disturbing movie. We followed it with My Name is Doris. It was light and cute. Sally Fields was Doris.

Oh I also rewatched Children of Men - saw that back when it was in theatres. Really like that movie. Was interesting to rewatch now, with the popularity of the Handmaid's Tale, there are some similarities between the 2.

We just watched Bird Box.
Quite enjoyed it.

It's a science fiction movie..."end of world" type story, with the main character being played by Sandra Bullock.
I just watched Bird Box too...sort of....I have to admit that I fast forwarded through some of it. So much death and destruction....I might need to stick with kids' movies.

Yeah, Little Mermaid are us...I like different kinds of dark. Dystopia, sometimes. Black and twisted humour, like Monty Python, etc., sometimes. But often, Anne of Green Gables.

Disenchantment

From Matt Groening, creator of The Simpsons.

My daughter loves it. We are watching it for a second time.

I need to try it again. It didn't grab me right from the get-go the way Futurama did but maybe I need to give it more of a chance.

I noticed that, but, our netflix account seems to want to stall at 24@ and last night was a night it did that.

I am curious about Britbox. wondered if anyone subscribed?

I trialed it (their trial period is damnably short IIRC) but didn't sign up. Main interest is that it seems to be the only way to get classic Dr. Who online and that may be enough to get me to go back eventually. I think they have Blake's 7 and Red Dwarf, too. As I recall, the app is so so but serviceable.
