Just watched the first 2 episodes of "Dogs".
Impossible to do it justice... I see awards out the yin yang ahead.
I was a weepy mess and I'm not even a dog person, BUT it isn't at all an exercise in exploiting sappy sentimentality. Family friendly. So much more than it sounds. It will change you.

I loved that line. We watched this last night. I may need to watch again when I'm not jet lagged.

I enjoyed watching Lisa Edelstein playing the substance abusing daughter. That's quite a different role than what I've seen her do in the past.
 
I'm considering getting the Korean version of Netflix - mostly because I want to watch Kim's Convenience.
 
We watched The Christmas Chronicles today. Kurt Russell played Santa Claus. It was a fun movie.
 
As ancient 'no tv' people for much of our lives a change is now demanding new knowledge. Our new smart tv is now installed and hubby claimed a free trial of Netflix. I assume there will be many evenings when I have to find a way of disappearing to do something else. Our tastes in music and movies are very different. This thread gives me some suggestions that I can hope will tempt him to watch the occasional movie that isn't a lot of noise, violent crime and blowing up of a variety of items!

Bluets savage or just present a raspberry ... to the old farts that live on a diet of pure violence ... I like the silence in a tome that talks to me from the stacks ... tis a large manuscript ... much hidden from us by the obscure ists ...

Be a bit dark to make them comfortable with what is virtue unknowns on this side of the unequivocal state ... no equal words for it yet expressed? ... create some! Gestalt ... ink spots as pixies? Emerging demons from unorganized sects ... chaos?

Tuath a Dannon? Tis a celtic hard place ... served with brews in NFLD! Fissures ...

Delightful flaws or River Floss! The place of crossing flames ... some in some out there ...

Alchemii in novel history ... etc. and so on it goest ... Noel spiritosis ... something to get into for depth, in abstract some would say they can't see it so unbelievable? Like Dan headed for that tree in arid lands ... O' asis? Something whetted ... that's Hur ...
