I'll see your bulgogi and raise you some Kung Pao Pork and Ma Po Tofu (both homemade of course).
Ooh - I could go for some of that pork.
You can keep the tofu though.

So I am! I had other things to worry about, so it wasn't really a serious thing going through my mind at the time, but it was for Chemguy! The costs of meds can be scary! There's a new one out, no fed or provincial funding yet. It's about $2000/dose! At this point, I don't think I really need it, but I do wonder if it's worthwhile getting trained and keeping one dose on hand - depends on how long until it expires. Hopefully hospitals will have it soon, right now it isn't stocked by the sounds of it. I'm thinking it could be useful to me in 2 ways: 1. My typical med fails to work, having it on hand, or getting it from the ER would work. Only 1 hospital in the city carries my current med though, so I expect the same will be true for this. If I spend a fair amount of time in a different area with a hospital, I can put in a request they carry it. I hope eventually the same will be true for this new one. 2. I have a bad attack that gets bad fast. Doing a pre-loaded syringe into my stomach would be much faster than mixing my stuff up and starting an IV. It takes minutes just to get it loaded into the syringe.I`m glad it didn`t have to come to that, ChemGal.
Money can't buy you love - but it will buy chocolate to sweeten things up.
