I have only ever had macadamia nuts in baking like cookies.
You're missing out...they are great salted and eaten by the handful or in chocolates...they are a nice creamy touch to nut milks...I've used them before to make a nut "cheese" spread
 
Verdict on the nut dumplings - I had them with soup not stew, and I didn't expect them to be anything like a wheat flour dumpling - they are more like meatballs and there is no way you could eat more than 1 a meal...I think I'll try again and make much smaller and cook in the oven for a nut version of a meatball for another recipe I want to try
 
If I ever go vegan, I am so stealing your recipe book @BethAnne.
Oh...I have to put these in a recipe book??!?!!?!?!? Most are on scraps of paper so I have no idea where the recipe came from or are ones I've made up based on other recipes. And you don't need to go vegan - you could just add some of these to your diet ;)
