If that's what you think the Room is about, Jae, then maybe you should stay out. As I just pointed out, many of us hang out on both so thread-warring isn't going to get you very far (and would, I hope, be considered disruptive behaviour by the mods).

Just shared my feelings Mendalla. Just being transparent. And there's nothing wrong with me being last.

I hang out on both threads but probably post more often here. The Room has a more serious vibe and LPT has a humorous & lighthearted vibe, I would say. But I find both places to be supportive and there is certainly a degree of overlap between the two.

Yeah, this makes sense to me. I actually get a fairly "uptight" vibe from the Room from time to time. More controversy about what is and is not appropriate to post there. LPOT is more tolerant and free-wheeling as I see it.

But don't get me wrong. I value both of the threads and am glad we have them.

Not for a long time...if I venture to another thread, I usually post.

In other news...the guy who helps me with the paper deliveries agreed to drive me to my appointments on Monday so that's one less worry in my life.
 
To tell the truth, I really don't see any point to Last Post. But maybe that's its appeal. Like walking in the mall and meeting a lot of people you know. The 'Hi, what have you been up to?' 'Hot weather we're having.' 'So long. Be seeing you.' And if I miss a day, or a week, I feel no compulsion to read pages of posts to catch up on 'what's goin' on?'
 
I thought I'd be knitting my LAST stitches on my dress by now but there was a MASSIVE knot in my ball of yarn that took ages to untangle.

The original one started as a joke and then became a place to just be silly...like a real conversation it twists and turns and covers a lot of topics - people join in, people leave but we keep going. :)
 
Great low fat protein. We eat water insects, like crab, shrimp, lobster. Don't understand the squeamishness about land insect protein..
 
Okay...it seems I'm not meant to finish this dress tonight.

I've eaten chocolate covered ants and dried crickets - which are very crunchy.
