Neighbours set off a few fireworks tonight...I'd have thought it was too stormy.

Surprising amount of snow here. We were told a white Christmas about a week ago, then it changed to some minor flurries if anything. LOTS of snow today. Parents drove up yesterday, very long drive for them due to poor road conditions. The snow was expected south of us, don't know when/if the forecast changed to predict the snow for here though. It's pretty. Hopefully highway will be good for trip to sister's tomorrow. Will be on the ring road for quite a while then shoot off into a bedroom community.

In a moment I'll go fill mom's stocking. Too dark still to see how much snow there is. Sis and family will be here later for presents and supper - thankfully they only have to travel 9 blocks.

Weather is looking decent here which is good since I have company from across Southern Ontario. We need snow by midweek though or my skier will be pissed.
