Sounds like small town reality. Everyone knows everyone else (or their mother, brother, cousin or best friend). Apparently there are also quite a few people in each small town who spend a lot of time talking about others. Recently someone told me about a lengthy discussion that was held over the coffee cups about my son. Someone in the group decided to notify a person with authority and complained that he should be working as there is, obviously, nothing wrong with him. Nothing wrong that shows - brain injuries tend not to!

Some people don't believe in the details from small communities ... thus a lot of tales are lost!

Other things are miss tue ...

Total opposite of my late teen experience. Graduation was odd, there were so many people who didn't even look vaguely familiar crossing the stage, let alone knowing everyone's name. And with some of the programs my school offered there were many who wouldn't have walked the stage and I would have been less likely to come across them unless they were in my homeroom, which met about 5 times a year.

Yep, there is that...I'm getting lots of flack for not helping other people when they ask, and people won't help mom or I cause they feel - since I'm smiling when I chance to see them - that I should be doing everything...apparently almost dying (and not yet fully recovered) does not equal too sick to do anything in their minds.

Travel a mile or two in their shoes ... they believe they can do anything with some ascertain authority ... and the sages say authority is corrupt ... leaving the hypo th' ETical God standing up in the other direction ... isn't that de belle ish!

Well we picked up the fifth wheel from the dealer today. We dropped it off about a month ago so it could get some repairs. They did a good job of it and it cost less than expected. Pleasant surprise. Because they sold it to us with the damage, they split the difference. Some of the repair work was also under warranty. Win-win. Now it goes to the storage place for the winter tomorrow. :(

We also looked at a new trailer. So tempting. Too soon. I suspect the salesman might have given us a good deal though. It's a new 2015 and they want to get rid of it. :)

Had a nice 64 km bike ride today. Last time I had a good ride was 3 weeks ago. Glad the weather is staying good. Maybe we'll have a winter with no snow....:) Ha ha will let you know how that turns out.

Good morning I have my coffee here and a cat on my lap. She is purring. It is dark and cosy still here. I'm listening to CKUA which is playing classical music. I finished a second sock for a size 13 foot. I had enough yarn. Barely. :) :coffee:

Threw a load of laundry in - wasn't the original plan for the day...sunny morning here...sis and family will be picking up mom and i to go celebrate brother-in-law's 69th birthday a couple days early.

Last, as I watch a 3-12 team battle a 4-11 team, in a game with actual playoffs implications.

To Stettler for Chinese lunch...niece helped me do some grocery shopping afterwards...found out from sis that the excitement Thursday was a suspected gas leak at the Senior apartments - no word on what they found.
