I drink a lot of water too. When away from home it goes in a refillable mug. I have been trying to think of when I last used a drinking straw - and having no luck at all. It has to be MANY years ago.
 
Looking around my workplace today, I wondered if straws were the biggest culprit. After all, we have plastic coffee lids, cold drink cups, garbage bags, beverage powder bags, food wrappers, cutlery, etc.
 
I wish I could stick with just water most of the time. I have problems with being dehydrated as it is though and when I try to hydrate with just water it's much worse.
 
I noticed that Bulk Barn is now selling metal straws, including a brush to clean them and Dolorama has paper straws for about twice as much as the plastic ones.
I don’t use straws much. I have a pack that is probably left from junior’s kids birthday parties....long long ago.
 
I almost never use a straw. Never at home. Seldom eat out, and then seldom at fast food places where I might use a straw with my drink especially in a drive-through where I most likely will be drinking it in the car.
 
As a retired water treatment specialist ... I found water caused as lot of rusting and rusty memes ... erosion? Some say water is the supports system of souls ... as they drift off ... just to escape stern humans?
 
We have gotten very used to refusing a straw in the same breath that we're ordering drinks whenever we're in restaurants. "I'll have a water, please; no straw." It works well most times.

The big surprise last week was when my Mr ordered a hot chocolate and got a straw. "I'll have a hot chocolate, please; no straw"?! Who would think to say that?! I guess it was intended to be used to mix the whip cream into the chocolate... but still!

Whipped cream ... a frothy thought that would excite some into denial ... too quantum and quarky for the determinate ... is the psyche a frothy area when whipped?
 
I used to think ... now Jae has me considering this whipped sect ... as dominant Christians ... bit frothy?

Don't tell ... they don't know yet ...
 
Went out for dinner today. The restaurant had a different type of straw. I'm not sure what they were made out of, wax possibly? I think they are more expensive, as with a new drink the waitress asked us to pickup up the straw so it could be placed in the new drink.
 
Perhaps hill country drinking is best ... right from the original containment ... wee brown jugs are reused and refilled ... a metaphor of whines kin in essence?

We 've heard it all before but do the corporeal hear us down 'ere?

Tis just scattered cognizance ... do not gather! Kind of like dew and the major polled stuff ... fluid thoughts?

Then there's Isis/Ice is ... don't get the metaphor wrong ... chi-Z Kohl ... as XP! (chi-rho?)
