These numbers are first dose as a % of overall population.
You can see the rapid rise (by how steep the curve is) in April and May.
Now, look at second dose curves

Although we are not in first place, you can see from June forward the curve just takes off. Canada is staged to pass the US in second doses, and unless things change drastically, the United Kingdom soon thereafter.
What a change from where we thought we would be in the summer.
Thankful to those who negotiated the purchase orders and the logistics who got these vaccines in, the staff who setup vaccination clinics, the hR folks and orgs that onboarded them.
There will always be questions of could it have happened earlier, or should we have done the sectors in the order they were done; however, there is no question that the rollout is working.
