She sounds totally obnoxious.
aftr all this time, when I see someone ignoring the arrows on the aisle I am annoyed. It’s not rocket science. Follow the f...ing arrows moron

I had someone nearly walk into me the other day when he was going against the arrows. His behaviour was rude arrows or no arrows. If the aisle is empty, I don't have a problem with going whichever direction. Just use manners.

It is good to see vaccines arriving. My sister in law has been able to book her elderly father in for a shot in London for next week

Yep. MLHU is a bit ahead of the curve on 80+. So hopefully that will continue with other ages and groups.

Updated plan for Ontario and it is based only on availability of AstroZeneca and the two mRNA vaccines. It does not account for this morning's announcements that Pfizer is stepping up shipments to Canada and that Health Canada approved Johnson & Johnson's single dose vaccine.

Won't say more, but there is good news in here for me and the missus.
Their health conditions seem off. Steroids haven't seen to be a problem I don't think most of the biologics have either. Cirrhosis is a pretty big risk factor. Not all intellectual disabilities have the same risk.

Yeah, not sure how that list was compiled. A lot longer than I was led to believe. The one that matters to me is there, though, so I'm not complaining. :giggle:

I am happy that they have given this information -- it is a sign that they feel the vaccines are coming in, and the processes are ready to accept them.

There is great information in that ontario document.
I get that there will remain questions -- it is always a question of analysis paralysis versus accepting that something needs to happen.
I am aware that there will be different areas that someone may wish to address with their doctors / specialists. I dont' expect that this 26 page powerpoint has all the information for all cases.

It's good it's reported, but some of the decisions are concerning. It's sad that many of those who are at high risk aren't having those risk factors properly acknowledged, and aren't being prioritized as they shoud.

Good piece from SciShow on the new vaccine from Johnson and Johnson and how it differs from the two mRNA vaccines. Note that AstroZeneca is not mentioned because it has not been approved in the US yet.

I was totally cool with the precepts of calculus until I reached differential equations, and our relationship ended.

I love the idea of the new J&J vaccine, based on current flu vaccine tech, which I have had completely successfully. And one dose. And recommended for under 65.

The USA is doing two million a day. We are proud to have 8 million in a month
Europe is not doing so well with it's vaccines either it's not just Canada.
