CARNEY - Some people think......... How do you feel?

Doesn't seem likely but it is not impossible. Depending on the polls you look at we could have anything from a CPC minority to a Liberal majority. CPC majority seems to be a bit unlikely, though, and a CPC minority probably means back to the polls in fairly short order unless Poilievre can get some kind of arrangement going with Blanchet (given I really can't see the NDP propping up the CPC). If I was a gambling man, though, my money would be on the Liberals, probably with a small majority but I wouldn't rule out another minority.

Is this a Win for Trump?

Where do you get this crap? It’s so weird. It’s nothing but annoying and divisive.

No, it’s not a win for Trump but if Carney can manage to talk some sense into him it doesn’t have to be a loss either. And I’m not a solid Carney fan. I’m just willing to give him a chance because he was elected and I dislike Polievre more. Speaking of…PP lost his seat. That’s not a win for Trump no matter how the artist of a painting tries to spin it.

It's an own goal for Trump. It shows he can't keep his mouth shut, even when it's within his own best interests.

Now he has a shrewd adversary on his northern border, when he could have had a like-minded sycophant in charge.

But we've seen this before. Trump is amazingly stupid and impetuous. He's a toddler, really, and not a bright one at that.

He did Canada a solid, but it wasn't his intent. He probably felt like Canadians would welcome him as our new president. He's that delusional.

Poilievre could have opposed Trump from the first "51st state" and tariff comments, but he feels he can't strongly oppose Trump because his base are maga fans, as is Poilievre. So he alienated everyone else instead, and doubled down on things like anti-"woke" and idiotic three word slogans. "Boots not suits?" What the hell was that? When has Poilievre ever worn work boots?

I think PP made his first mistake by pushing for an immediate election....he should have just waited until the designated time for an election and he would have won bigly against Trudeau.
And he more than likely thought pushing it sooner wouldn't give the liberals a chance to find a good contender....but they did and then there was Trumps help with trying to confiscate Canada....
Carney was smart by taking the Carbon Tax debacle off the table too.

The longer the wait, the more damage Trump can do to the conservative brand.
Who
thought he could do this much damage, this quickly?

"Who thought he could do this much damage, this quickly?"

Think??? What is this thing called thought? A late senior friend used to say: remember my friend ... "Romans would declare a thinking man is dangerous!"

Is there some story that the Romans slaughtered seers, philosophers, etc. in the animal parks, etc.? One declared 3000 were crucified on the Apian Way ... imagine that ... could it occur again? Would people believe another Holocaust right under their nose? Nah ...

They'd have to be WOKE first ... you know like a comprehending state! That's not acceptable by Romans, Republicans and anything like them ... not possible right?
