Agreed, and if what we are concerned about is the base system of parliamentary democracy in the country in which we live, then maybe we need to re-think talking as if our words can change a millennial-old system. *shakes head*
Different people will try oot different things
Some people are concerned aboot Davos and its seeming attempt to circumvent our Parliamentary Democracy
Some people are concerned with Mump making our Parliamentary Democracy a thing of the past
Some people are concerned aboot Nuclear War making our Parliamentary Democracy a thing of the past
Some are very concerned aboot the next plague making our Parliamentary Democracy a thing of the past
Or Catastrophic Climate Change making our Parliamentary Democracy a thing of the past
Or an asteroid making our Parliamentary Democracy a thing of the past
Or rampant distrust of government making our Parliamentary Democracy a thing of the past
And so forth
I know people from different "camps", different concerns, who also have different ways of "dealing with it"
I don't think there is one way of dealing with it. We each have different talents. Different characters. Maybe Canadians will have to, as a whole, stop being so passive?
(my guess is more will have to learn asymmetry...we are dealing with very powerful forces)
I think one of the things that is happeneing is more people are waking up, seeing the various machinations and evil that goes on in the world and they can't ignore it anymore like in the past?
(fits in with one of my historical wishes; wishing more people would be able to see more wholly Canada, both the horrors and the nobilty...)
There are many problems
Many puzzles to solve
Me? Most of it is too big and complex for me. So I listen to my friend B. And help the locals. Feed the birds.
How is it going in your neck of the woods?
