You seem to interpret many of the parables as stories about Jews and gentiles. Please keep in mind there have been concerns expressed about antisemitism in some of your remarks.

Clearly, @unsafe is speaking about the Jewish religious order and NOT their heritage , Jesus was a jew, His followers were Jews , I know for a fact, Unsafe and I stand with Isreal

your making accusations that are uncalled for, Antisemitism is hostility to, prejudice, or discrimination against Jews, clearly @unsafe her Saviour who she Worships, is a Jew

BTY,

even the Jewish people who come to Christ speak up against the Pharisees and Sadducees, are these Messianic Jews antisemitic aswell

blackbelt1961 ---Thanks for chiming in here appreciate it -----I think as well that assumptions are being put forth here

This is very interesting though.

It means that even after hearing the same response over and over, some people have no clue what you are saying.

They have a false perception of what you think, and keep projecting that into what you type.

There is even a poster here who thinks some books of the NT are antisemetic.

they're more interested in proving wrong rather than knowing Truth because Truth does not fit with there narrative Jesus encountered the same thing.

its the very nature of Truth, Truth is exclusive and objective it means the opposite exists, that which we call false.

the problem is when we accept Truth, for people like you, me and unsafe, we begin to see the falsehoods and we speak up against them, it puts us in the camp of exclusiveness, like Jesus who is Truth and the Creator are.

another problem, with all this antisemitic BS here, is that the Jewish people are the ONLY people on the face of this Planet that are Jewish by religion and Heritage.

Im Italian by heritage, but by Spirit im Jewish

blackbelt, you may try to distance yourself from unsafe, but the thing that had my eyes wide was when she posted this:
The Jews today who have not received Jesus and still believe their Messiah will come are sinners and are still under the Law of Moses and are under the Curse of the Law ---which is death
...and you went ahead and "liked" it.

And just when I think you two can't surprise me any more. I'm choosing to see the humour in it, because the alternative is so dark and depressing. You two are warning beacons for what happens when you take religion too literally. It's really scary.

Such people would be Christians in the eyes of mainstream Judaism.

But we have been over this already on at least one of the gospel threads.

If you would like to talk about Messianic Jews any further, please start a separate thread for the discussion.

No doubt we will be discussing this very issue when we get to John's gospel. But that is a way off yet.

My plan is to finish up here when we reach the end of Luke and follow Moderator Richard Bott's study on FB for 40 days.

I would be interested in hosting threads about John and Acts in the fall/ winter.

unsafe says
Sorry I misread your statement ---I apologize for the miss read on my part ------Did not see the----- Nor in your statement -----

This is your quote -------I am neither threatening you nor bullying you. Nor am I seeking a thread ban which I have stated more than once already.
Thanks for clearing that up. Amazing how much difference one little word can make in a sentence.

No your wrong, that is the position of the Pharisees, nothing new, let's be clear hear. Messianic Jews are still Jewish by heritage who have accepted there Jewish Messiah who shapes the Prophesies of there Jewish writings

a Christian aka ( Follower of Christ ) is a gentile who also believes in the same Jewish Messiah

But we have been over this already on at least one of the gospel threads.

yes we have, and I and others have pointed out that there is not antisemitic going on

well, stop making false accusations, when in fact @unsafe is correct on her interpretation of your Luke post

Knitters will know that a tangled ball of yarn sometimes needs to be discarded because it simply can't be untangled. Or it is not worth the effort.

So allow me to repeat two things.

1. Any decision about antisemitism on this thread will be made by the moderators. Anyone who is concerned about a particular post is free to Report it, of course. As always.

2. Please take any discussion you would like to have about Messianic Judaism to a new thread.

ok so I have a great idea, which really this is the way it should be, Instead of calling someone out on a thread for all to see and offend the person, why not just anonymously report it and let the mods do there Job. After all I have been a mod and I can honestly say that they are very good and honest at what they do.

Sorry @blackbelt1961 I cannot tell if you are being serious or sarcastic. No use responding until I know.
as far as I can see @unsafe was called out Twice so far on this thread, which is why we all had this mumbo jombo going on ,, granted you claimed a misunderstanding on the semantics of words which still was no apology to Unsafe. If I make a mistake, I am man enough to apologize and have done so in the past, but regardless I was being serious

Mods can't make you two into reasonable people. Their options are limited. They could remove the antisemitic parts or delete the posts. But then you two would be euphoric because you'd be persecuted, just like Jesus said! I suppose they could post something that distances the position of the forum from your ideas, but that's more effectively done by the forum members ourselves as we're struggling to believe what we're reading

I think it's far more effective to leave your posts exactly as they are, and call them out for exactly what they are. The good thing is they're pretty funny, which makes the racism go down easier.
