Thankful for my first visit withy new GP. I found him very trustworthy and attentive. My next meeting with him will probably after some tests get done over the next two or three months.

I'm thankful today to be back in my own home after two weeks away; thankful for the financial security that allows some travel across this country; thankful for an opportunity to join in recent celebration of a marriage; thankful for spending treasured time together with our kids & their partners, despite some COVID floating around; thankful for health care reciprocity between ON & BC allowing a doc visit while away; and for today's sunshine and A/C

I am thankful for my youngest son to be coming home from a month at Gagetown.

Thankful for a son who pops in to see us most days. Also for his willingness to do some of the jobs we find difficult. Today it was helping to replace an item we removed from the camper because, for us, it was just taking up room. A few days ago he cleaned out the eavestroughs that were blocked with pine needles.

I am thankful for still having my ADL's

And for the weight loss (unintentional)

And the continued presence of the wild rabbits...I never knew they could stretch so long :3

Oh and hairy legs. They help keep me warm

Today,

I am thankful for Kwikwetlem First Nation, Semiahmoo First Nation, Katzie First Nation, Musqueam First Nation, Kwantlen First Nation, Tseil-Waututh Nation, for being such good gardeners and co-creators. And for their wonderful art and historical notices and trails throughout their ancestral residence where some of them are still interred. Very sacred and beautiful place. By the river.

The salmon and sturgeon are teeming and yeeting from the river. They look quite fat

Thankful for the blessings of many talented VAMs (voluntary associate ministers), in our congregation. Rev George did a lovely wander through the history of UCC hymns today. Also thankful for congregation member who makes and sells her jam as a fundraiser on Sundays; bought a jar of black currant today; yummy on a crumpet for lunch!

To recently getting to know more of the local homeless
Even to get angry at a local Supermarket where I hear aboot a store employee comes oot every so often to chase off these starving homelss people who arent bothering anyone (asides from existing)
This store is so rich
Full of stuff
And the Indo-Canadians in it are so big with their families...

I am thankful for being able to get my hair cut at a wonderful place where they play Religious S. Asian music

I felt very calm and almost fell asleep

The two who worked on me were quite cute. I was actually able to guesstimate the age of one of them. I swear as I get older...certain people look younger lol
