Great ideas. I echo Pinga (and others) about the 'net, and the fish. I particularly like the rainbow fish. I'll have to get someone to help me add a rainbow fish to my avatar.
I realize that my avatar is already related to fish, as my brother, sister and I sit on the steps with our fishing gear.

I wouldn't want to put that pressure on any person attending, having been there as a delegate and knowing the frenzy of the time, but......Ina has a great idea. GC is an opportunity to remind folks that we are here.

Wondering if there is a way to support delegates?

Prayer Pilgrimage

To prepare the church for the 42nd General Council in Corner Brook, August 8-15, you are invited to join a 40-day Prayer Pilgrimage – praying each day for those who will journey as commissioners to GC42, and for all of us who together make up the church.

Starting June 29, prayers will be available here (http://www.gc42.ca/prayer-pilgrimage) to pray together in the days leading to GC42. Share the prayers in groups or online and encourage others to join the Prayer Pilgrimage.

Let's pray together, May it be so, Amen.​

Interesting idea too pinga - to have somebody from here monitoring & posting updates of interest here on WC2. There are 'reporters' at the GC who apparently do a daily summary of events ... and possibly there will be news coverage to also monitor.

As we gather for General Council 42 from sea to sea to sea in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, this August, we would like to be surrounded by our congregations’ prayers.
Each congregation is invited to create a “prayer fish” (like a prayer flag) to hang in our gathering space, carrying your prayers and hopes for the church at this time. Create a prayer fish to hang vertically on legal-size cardstock or material 8.5 inches by 14 inches, and mail it to
