Love your fish Crazyheart. My computer has not let me into any sites, or links till now. I think this one finished after two years... imagine. Windows 10 is almost here.
We did our Fish for GC42. and it is sent. We got it laminated so it would last longer. It's being hung vertically and is on our Facebook page. We wrote along the edges what people had written down. Then there was some room to write a vertical message for the GC '42 commissioners. We hung a copy on the door into the sanctuary. People like to see results and then it all comes together.
We also had this morning several Youth Commissioners at church and staying for lunch. They are on the Pilgrimage walking from western provinces... on their way. They are a dynamic group, speak clearly and well. Are eager to learn from us what we think, and have read over 1000 pages. I was thrilled at their tenacity and resolve to be fully present and accountable. One said, "I love the church and want it to last forever." They are ready to address changes and choose well for the future.
There is hope in these younger folks and I hope it will not be dashed as they wade through some of the realities. They too, expressed their thoughts that the church needs to be out there meeting the needs of the community.
I told a couple of them about Wonder Cafe 2... and said there were things about GC42 there if they were interested. These two had never heard of it, but said they'd look it up. Perhaps they will check us out.
They will be small though ... so don't fret too much about it! (for the fish - not the business cards)
