That's interesting Tabitha - I'm curious to hear more! There's a fish on the logo for GC42, so it would make sense.
 
I don't know much. It came up at our Board meeting-I'll get the original from our secretary
I do remember they are to be legal paper size-that's 8.5 by 14 in inches. They can be paper or fabric-they will be hung "like prayer flags" at General Council.
Pinga-what about a fish net background -and a Fish with WC2 on it-and perhaps our names around the logo? Hmmmm

perhaps those who are going could also wear tshirts (i'm assuming there aren't icebergs in august in NL & LAB?) with our url on them? some witty phrase or logo?

Let's think about this. Newfoundland wants fish? I was only there once but I noticed that cod featured high on their menu. And we visited a salmon hatchery - so they have salmon. Maybe some fresh brook trout - they taste greeat fried crisp for breakfast - but they'd be hard to keep fresh.
Maybe something canned. Do you suppose saridines would do?
 
I like Tabitha's idea, pretty much the way she described it. If I had more time and skill I'd offer to make it in fabric - but paper would work. Do we have volunteers to make it and get it there?

Seeler, Newfoundland is all about cod. Cod cheeks, cod tongues, fried cod, salted cod... you name it. They do indeed have access to trout and altantic salmon, haddock, etc. But mostly, it's all about the cod.
 
Is there a theme for GC?

Could someone make a template with paper and then we could go from there. Remember the mug that

someone made so that we could add our ideas
 
I think it'd be pretty fun to send something from 'the net'. Maybe a bunch of different fish, to represent us all?
 
Would it be a silly idea to have 'avatar' pictures in the net? Like, little square graphics of fish with a name underneath?
 
Well, I'm there to work. I'm sure I'll be totally crazy. But I know @revjohn will be there as a commissioner. And did I hear someone's daughter is going?
