On to other things. My mistake was I engaged with the troll.

Already 10 degrees here at 8am. It will be a busy month for me at work A therapy assistant student starts today. Have a good week all.
So if I prefer something made in the traditional way, and say as much, I'm a troll. Interesting definition you have there Tabitha. Anyway, you have a good week too.

@crazyheart

I thought Jae was gone. Someone is posting under his name and acting like him on a bad day. Please, let's have more respect and ignore this troll.

Greetings! Aaaaah . . . as I look out my living room window I see the sun trying to poke out its rays through the clouds in the sky . . . we are supposed to hit +22 in the next two days - I will believe it when it happens as it is still pretty cool here today.

Haven't heard anything from the company . . . assuming they are on their way - my guess is that they may arrive tomorrow instead of today. But just in case I do have something I can throw together for a late supper - cause if they arrive today, it will be late.

The snow is off the grass, and the grass is starting to turn green in places, no buds on the trees yet.

I can hardly wait to start gardening.

Thanks Chemgal. Tab's qui;t is a quilt and a piece of art. She will win a prize.

@Sseeler = It is really jae.

Has anyone told Jae to quilt while he's behind? No? You guys are slipping.

Great quilt. My mother-in-law used to quilt, but nothing as nice as that.

Worked on cottage repairs this past weekend, with the brother-in-laws. One managed to hit me in the knee with a sledgehammer. I suspect he's been wanting to do that for years, and seized the opportunity.

It's not bad, just a little sore. I can walk fine. It was a glancing blow.

Job prospect is back on. Turns out, the guy looking to hire me wasn't ignoring me - he was ignoring the world. He spent the better part of the last month in and out of the hospital with infections. So that's positive.* I need to get a real job. Just can't stay at this reno business thing. I need to be part of a team. Solo work is not for me. Too easy to wallow.

* Not the infections part.

Rain - sleet - sleet mixed with snow - for the past five days. Not expecting much better in the next five days - except the sun might try to peek out a little on Wednesday. That's good because I am tentatively invited upriver to a friend's home for lunch on Wednesday. (Tentative because there are three of us, all retired, and trying to find a good day when none of us are busy. Just to make it possible, I've decided to take a day off from my Wednesday volunteering at the church.

I did smile at your friend being positive for infections. Most of us hope the tests come back negative.
Good news on the job. May it happen soon.

I voted today. The ballot was very different, no X to mark, just a line to write in the person or party.

Alberta is the one currently having an election campaign and is where she lives so I would think that is obvious.

Thanks Mendalla. I didn't know the first factoid, and, if I ever knew the second one, I had forgotten. Go Tories!

Actually, the Alberta Tories may need your prayers this time. It's an even tighter race than last time (when they pulled out a majority after trailing Wildrose for most of the campaign). Though I suppose Wildrose might work for you. They are kind of like the old Reform Party (right wing populists).

Although worse for the Wildrose this time around I suspect.
