Good morning. Today's big deal is a visit to the oncologist where I find out what's in store for me. Good vibes or prayers gladly accepted.

Mr Northwind called the mobile RV tech yesterday to see if he can install the new toilet. As far as I know he hasn't heard back yet.

Hopefully it's not as bad as you think...prayers for you.

I was thinking of you and your appt. before this showed on my screen. Hope it goes well. Be nice to get the toilet fixed too!

I saw my oncologist today. She is switching me to a new treatment. I'm scheduled to get my first dose on Tuesday. Apparently the first treatment is 3 hours. I'll get benadryl and the other drugs to deal with side effects. The drug is Trodevy and has a super long generic name which I will learn. Apparently it has been used for colon cancer and was approved for my type of breast cancer in June. It apparently has promising results so far. My doctor also wants to see if I can get a liver biopsy. That will give specific information that will help with future treatments, including trials. It will be done in Vancouver at the cancer centre there. Onwards and forward.

Good morning! Happy Saturday! As we await word on the toilet replacement, and think of Northwind's treatment situation, let us pause for a few moments of peace and thanksgiving, as we gather round the Coffee Cart, and enjoy the company here. As we chat and discuss, we drink tea and coffee, and indulge in bear claws. May our conversations be genuine, our connections strengthened, and our moral support felt by all.
The tea water is boiling, the coffee is freshbrewed, the bear claws soft and warm from the oven. All is ready; everybody is welcome. Come inand join in the conversations!

What can one expect from a world all laid out as if nothing turns? Can nothing be defined or designated? Thus Eire it is and just another prototype ... reality doesn't last long ... given the darker spots ... all 3 leading to a coming forth and fifth ... and then the minor ... fallacy?

Up she goes ... what are flappers ????

Starting today with a gentle hug for Northwind. Cancer seems to be a particularly nasty disease to deal with. Nay the new drug be super effective and have few unpleasant side effects.

I get to go out for coffee with a friend today so I'm really looking forward to getting out of the house. Mot being able to drive or walk very far really puts a damper on activities involving changes of scenery.

Well, my parents signed the sales agreement to list their house yesterday. This has been a long time coming. Claire is the one who recalled that we started this project the summer she entered grade 9. She's now at Waterloo.

That first summer, we gutted the basement which had been flood damaged. The year before the basement had been waterproofed, so it wasn't likely to happen again.

Five summers of being there mostly to purge and renovate and clean. It's finally going to be listed.

Small blessings, one step at a time ...

If in 3D domains one had a sense of time and space as well would those seized by the first three fail to understand time and space and what could expand if given something missing and thus the seth, an sept D's? Some say at the Septic sign the light goes on elsewhere ... beyond here and now ...

Many people believe nothing but the center point of where they are at in the presence of power and cannot escape it ... hoom'n bondage?

Then Lew Ciel ... the subtle horizon, hypo and dampened ... also confusing those without a sense of major complexity of the chord

Requires considerable weaving and wobbling of strings ... many lessons, etudes! Just extravagance in governing, business and BS is unheard of and thus explaining mute force ... it may appear in the night! Nacht ... Eire Lai ... later the thing gets thicker ... tub in ... vassal seizure ... leading to romantic folly ...

Wow, and I thought some of my big IT projects took a long time. Good that they finally got it on the market. And good that they've got a son who can handle this stuff. Hope all goes well.

@Northwind, sending good vibes. Hope this treatment does some good and is more tolerable.

Got some work done outside so the property should be okay until we get back from Greece. Neighbours on both sides know we'll be gone and I'll line up the adult son of the neighbours to the West to deal with garbage since we leave Thursday and garbage collection is Friday. Still making some arrangements for side trips and such. Just heard that a cyberattack took down some airports in Europe but not Athens (we are taking a direct flight from TO to Athens) so that's a bit worrying but not much. Air Canada's labour problems are probably a bigger risk but they are going to arbitration so hopefully that's only a minimal one, too.

Spent most of the day on two volunteer items:
a) sending reminder emails to 3 sets of folks in our IT reunion -- those who accepted, those who haven't signed up yet, and those who declined. Different focus for each. Good thing is it got 3 more to signup who hadn't followed through.
b) doing Toastmasters work, including reviews of minutes, research on a replacement for the bag of hardware that we use for our hybrid meeting.

When looking at the agenda, realized that i am on deck for a speech on Monday. Luckily it is a "response to evaluation" speech, so I should be able to practice it readily tomorrow.

life is busy, but, all of it feels good.

Yay chansen! What a relief that must be for all involved.
It brings the properties I'm at least largely responsible for, down to three. Each one is about 1.5 hours from our house, and at least that far from each other. It has really been a pain. It was made easier by my daughter who has been a huge help, but she's obviously not living with us anymore. She's done so much work for her grandparents that they vow to buy her a car next year. Which I fear they will use to guilt her into taking my mother shopping. It never ends.
