One of our sons had a steady group of friends through his school years. Nice boys whose mischief was mostly harmless. Much to our amusement one of them has just been promoted. He is now an Assistant Commisioner with the RCMP and in charge of training at the Depot in Regina. We could tell some stories...............
 
As a cop's kid my bias is that people who become police officers could have gone either way. That was certainly the case for my father.
 
It was a full day today. My monthly cancer group was great. We had some new members out and a good discussion. This afternoon we went to celebrate our friends' 50 wedding anniversary. They had a beautiful vow renewal ceremony at our church.

I'm pooped.

Good Sunday morning! Hope all are well! (or as well as possible under the circumstances). Meeting friends for coffee, the realities of limited mobility, finally getting a house on the market, yardwork and getting ready to travel, (Have a great time in Greece!), volunteering time, a 50th wedding anniversary, and a shout out to the great Poo'Bah, plus whatever else comes up today, we bring it to the Coffee Cart with us to discuss, support, and connect. This morning we enjoy date squares from the bakery. The tea water is hot, the coffee has just finished brewing, and the squares are soft and warm. Everything is ready, and everyone is welcome. Come in when you can, enjoy the refreshments, and share in the conversations!

Should we celebrate a solid morning ... another when no NU fresh ideas can enter our heads ... because of stagnation of Sophia? Stag nation ... a thing to be accosted by d' Eire and Ayres? Maybe indicating someone stonewalled ... buffaloed ... what a poo' Bah ... and then we're out of that accrued disc ... dead ringers?

Only the lighter ones escape ... the heavies sink in to form cores ... axis? Einstein said the wheels were abstract ... indeterminate ... innumerable? Lower dais ...
 
May be utilized by the trite ones ... that ignore the opposed ... always 2 sides of the pole ... maybe 3 beans ...

Be creative abstract ... get something out of it even if it amounts to ... well you know !
 
Good morning! A rainy Monday in these parts today, but no rainy weather can drown out a sunny disposition! We gather again in spirit around the Coffee Cart for our conversation, support, connection and camaraderie, over coffee, tea, and macaroons, which the Wonderbaker has whipped up for us. The tea water is ready, coffee is finished brewing, and the macaroons warm from the oven. All things are ready, everyone is welcome to come join in the refreshments and share in the conversations. Come and get it!

Singing in the rain and else where ... anywhere but down 'Eire? It has this aroma ...

Burning intel ... going for the auto ... as thinking is evil --- some Roman! (related to Judi Anna ...) Julienned as a noodle ...
 
I had three super busy days in a row and now I'm done. I have two tasks for today, bloodwork and pick up flea and tick meds for the dog. Then I'll be home in the recliner with my nose in a book. I'm reading Fredrik Backman's newest book called My Friends. It's excellent so far.

My husband asked me if I was just tired or another option which I can't think of. This isn't just tired. It's a full body fatigue. Anyone else experience that?

Quite regularly as folk on one side try to silence the other side so they can put forth their righteous nationalism that requires someone has to go down ... then I stand alone on a thin line where both sides will shoot at me to advance their power ... almost makes me speechless for ... so write ... inky ah ... Apol LOh? Laughter On Heights ... highland bull? Baskar vilest ... violets?
 
I read ‘My Friends’— It made me laugh, smile and cry on occasion. Hope you feel perkier soon @Northwind. Our city is reeling from the news of the arrest of our MPP. He is not a local. He was hoisted upon us by Doug Ford at the last election and many people were incensed that locals didn’t get a chance to choose one of our own. Maybe that chance is coming!

Strong "maan" do not need any feed from the people ... they do it all on their own without evidence ... then "maan" means so many different items of contention ... yet where is intelligence scattered? Touché ... that Golden one in the dark ...
 
Good Tuesday morning! We will likely have another opportunity to go singing in the rain in this area. Hoping for some rest and recuperation for Northwind, as well as a good day for each of you. Drop by some time today, and tell us what's happening in your part of the universe. The tea and coffee will be ready for you, as well as doughnuts from the bakery. Send the rain this way,Red, all we are getting is showers and the wildfire is still going although contained and the evacuees were able to go home. Today it strongly smells lire smoke as the wind is coming from there.
 
Maybe some rain will fall late tomorrow into Thurs as the edifice burns ... although seemingly unknown to the people up there ...
 
I get my first treatment with my new drug today. It involves side effect drugs so I'm a little anxious. I suppose the side effects will be manageable if it does what it is supposed to do. The first infusion will be three hours. I'll bring my knitted hug, a blanket my northern knitting buddies made for me. It contains all the hugs and prayers from friends near and far, including my WC friends. I'll also bring a book and water, along with the aforementioned side effect drugs.
