Went voting yesterday. Surprised ( or not) that after the provincial election had been electronic ( on an IPad) with a paper print out for possible recount), this one was fully back to paper. Election helper commented it was easier for the people.

Speak of clayton de Lane Heh and clay vessels ... Jugs? There be sealed up old manuscripts ... artifacts ... at one time fully denied as not in hand of the materialist ... and yet these inklings ...

Polls are showing Singh is in danger of losing his seat in his BC riding, when asked, he denies that he will lose it.

I voted today as well. I was in the community center already to go to the library. Easy peasy with hardly anyone there.

Guideline for reporters should be they are only allowed to ask questions about real issues, not conspiracy stories or fabricated stories. No attacks, just questions.
Who gets to define what are real issues, though? The debate commission, whose handling of this election has been a bit dicey? In fact, in the media, isn't it usually reporters who decide what matters?

I think there should be a rule that news outlets (accredited or not) shouldn’t be allowed to stack the room with 5 reporters. Even worse that they are not accredited and tried to hog all the space. One reporter per outlet and give everyone a set number of questions (no matter how bad). One or two each. A skilled politician always dodges the questions they don’t want to answer, regardless.

Like the debate commission I actually don’t think far right alt-news orgs are legitimate nor should they get any airtime for debate scrums, but the court already disagreed. They’re corrupt in my opinion. 5 reporters from Rebel News? It’s creeping fascism to try to overtake the free press and replace it with misinformation and disinformation.

I think its important to say that even questions need to be fact checked in order to be relevant.
But my question, who do you trust to do the fact-checking? That's traditionally the role of the press but if it's them being checked, obviously it cannot be them. I would not trust bureaucrats with it. They have a stake in the election. So who is it?

I actually think, not just on this but on all the issues, Greens have the best platform. I know they won’t win but I want them to have seats in the house.
It's one of the things that keeps me coming back to them. Best platform, at least from my perspective. No point to me voting strategically since I'm in a safe Liberal riding that is unlikely to change hands this time so I can vote my actual preference.

Nice, I can't anymore. Since they split this riding into two - Barrie/Innisfil and Barrie/Oro-Medonte, the latter is so solidly Conservative that one really must vote Liberal to make any hope of difference. The lady running for the liberals seems to be a pretty solid candidate. Lots of signs out, personable, well-spoken local family doctor. She ran provincially here as well, and did much better than anticipated against the incumbent PC (Downey, who is A-G), so maybe she'll pull off a miracle in this one.

For all the assumptions ... a note ... "you just do not ever know" ... it is in the great mystical plan! Thus mycosis ... paired alien essences!

Our riding stretches from the eastern suburbs of Ottawa to the Quebec and US border along the Ottawa River. It is heavily Francophone which is the first language for close to 80%. of the residents. The current MP is Liberal. The MPP is Conservative but his riding does not include the Ottawa suburb and does include North Glengarry so it is more rural. The other parties have low votes. I am debating between Green. NDP, snd Liberal
