I don't even have any predictions for tonight, rare for me. My late ex-husband was a political junkie, from a family of them (one of his uncles ran once for the PCs although he didn't get the seat). We used to have serious, for money, bets on election nights, based on our variation from the spread we predicted, on paper, finalized the minute that the last polls closed. The Hippie didn't much care, claiming they (politicians) were all against him. The big guy is a bit prone to the PCs, but was told to vote Liberal and I believe did so. Our riding is odd; Barrie itself tends to Liberal, and we once had an NDP MP, and our Green candidates sometimes do surprisingly well. When you add in "Springwater-Oro-Medonte" area, you are into serious life-long Conservative farmers. We ranged a fair way afield into the northern part of our riding yesterday. Now, mind, we were more in wealthy districts than agricultural, because we wound our way down through Horseshoe Valley, but I was pleasantly surprised by the number of Liberal signs.
