Recall that word(s) mean little to the ordinary mortal as initially then didn't wish to know regardless ... without regard?

We say the most confounding words causing chaos in the mind of winners that were born without much ... is word that significant that we don't need to observe it in our state of oblivion ... that's dark OK ... Black Oak! Casts a shadow ... of folk suspended there ... what a hang-up ...

Mores to look into because of things not understood ... subtly! Downers? Thus the folly in a few words as possible ... like Christina ... caution she'll eat you up ... that autonomous love-hate syndrome ... flippant?

Is it noumena or phenomena ... just fey as flighty? Like buggies getting all about yah ... stunning!

Driveways that make good toboggan slopes, side effects of medications, swimming at the Y, sewing classes, and all the other things that have happened, plus what will happen today; we bring it with us to the Room, to gather in spirit around the Coffee Cart. Here we discuss, share, offer and receive moral support. We also indulge in coffee, tea, and baked goodies-- looks like muffins of various descriptions and flavours. The coffee is fresh brewed, tea water is boiling. Come in and join the fun! All are welcome, all is ready.

When it goes to a great ultimate mass of words ... what happens if you read a lot? Is the consequence subtle?

It is said some authority do not read atoll and thus become authoritatively alternate ... an opposed Ego? If Ego is cognizance and awareness ... what then?

So the entire concept departs .... that other world syndrome in essence or spirit! Like stupendous ... gone in a flash ... many comings and going are like that ... no plans, schemes, or plots regarding consequences ... much wrote on accrued states ... ruagh eh ... like carpet burns ... they go down in flames ... inflammation due to the Rue bin ... pithy?
 
Woke up to a cold: sore throat, cough, scratchy throat, sore eyes.
I have bookclub this afternoon, but, will skip it, as wouldn't want to share.

booo. thought i had skipped it.
youngest granddaughter shared with youngest son. two days later husband came down. Three days later, it's me.

We had a great dinner with my sister and her husband last night. The restaurant used to be owned by a family that has about four restaurants in the area. The owners retired and a couple who worked for them bought it. Turns out the couple is 19 and 20 and members of the Cowichan Band. I hope they do well. The food was amazing.

Sorry you caught the current cold or whatever. It is hard to avoid. We discussed and decided to not attend a funeral yesterday. It was going to be huge and we didn't want to push our luck!
 
I'm contemplating whether to go to church or not. Friends of mine have just come back from a cruise. Apparently he came off the ship with something. I expect they'll be at church. If I do go, I'll probably wear a mask.

My immune system seems to be doing its job so far. Maybe I'm headed for something in the Spring? We've certainly had lots of masking at work, so I know people I work with are getting stuff and I should be getting exposed (since most people wouldn't mask until symptomatic and colds and flu are transmissible before one is symptomatic).

That's the one big downside of cruising, I think. You've got a very high population density on the ships so stuff spreads fast. I've been lucky. The only time I've been sick on/after a cruise was in 2024 after our South/Central America cruise when I came down with COVID just after returning. But the horror stories, esp. about food-related stuff like norovirus, keep on coming.
 
I'm not interested in going on a cruise with 3000 of my closest friends. There's also the flight to Florida and touring around there for a day or two. It's a recipe for "healthy" and robust germs.

Yeah, we sailed from Tampa last year and hadn't been there before (well, I had been but for business) so spent some time sightseeing. Not sure if that's where I picked it up or if that was the incubation period and I got it on the ship.

Constantly making these decisions does get wearing! However, getting sick would be more wearing.

I decided to stay home and watch from my recliner. My friend gave an announcement and sounded congested. Apparently too, people in the apartments in the church building have been getting sick. I don't want another delay in treatment because of a plague.
 
Healing thoughts/hugs for those afflicted. I had to beg to get bloodwork done after my gallbladder surgery had been cancelled multiple times. The nurse didn't think I needed it! My liver functioning had been severely impacted by my first couple of attacks, and I just wanted to see if it was becoming normal. After I begged, she then asked the doctor's opinion (shouldn't that have happened right away?), and I was allowed to get bloodwork done. Well, it turns out that the bloodwork shows some liver problems still. I have just looked at the results on-line, and haven't talked to a professional yet. Although, my phone records they called on Friday while I was out, but didn't leave a message. I am curious if this will speed up a surgery date or not.
 
Oh man Nancy, it's tough waiting for something so important. I hope you get your surgery and are on the mend soon.

We really shouldn't have to beg our health care people to do their jobs. Sorry yours are being so casual about helping you get well again. Hoping for the situation to improve soon.
 
I'm not upset with the doctor....He is run off his feet. But the nurse shouldn't be making decisions on her own. She actually sort of hung up on me while I was explaining my situation. I said that, in September, the doctor had said that my liver numbers would improver (probably) after the gallbladder was removed. I was very calm in my explanation and she said, in a hurried and annoyed way...I've got to go. I'll call you back. Click. (I had still been talking). When she called me back, she said that the doctor wasn't in, would be in the next day, and she would ask him. My concern is that a nurse is making decisions that the doctor should be making. And I'm not sure how to complain about this in a way that is helpful, not whining.

Nancy when the doctor is off, does he usually have another doctor on call while he's away?
