Yup. Completely legal to bake such brownies for one's own use. But I have heard stories of the brownies being served and eaten by unknowing dinner guests. Not sure if this would be illegal but it strikes me as unethical at the very least.
What has ethics to do with it when most are guided by moral law ... "like Mum: everybody is doing it!"

It does guide a lot of sical disturbances and dissonance ... especially in those with no onus ... is there an onus tie?

Not likely when we drift in a sea of sacred MS Tatements ... so many hidden and ostentatious behaviors linked to kerygma ... rite it!

And this is important, because there seems to be a typical human variation in receptors to cannabinoids. I have concluded, from anecdotal evidence, that if you don't react well to nitrous oxide sedation, you don't react well to cannabinoids.

I make special edibles for special friends, but they are always clearly labelled.

Eddy bliss ... some say Wahl effect as whirl occurs ... there are texts on Ayahuasca and how some get a bad trip out of the juices of that tree ... sapience? Bad reactions to wisdom ... fantasy, or ju'Cid abstract ... from an arid place ... acacia?

Good morning. I'm getting bloodwork and my monthly shots this morning. Then laundry will happen at some point. I may take it with me when I'm out and do it in a laundromat in town that I like. Change of scenery.

My sister received one of those standard emails you receive when you submit a complaint somewhere. She spoke to a very condescending customer service rep this morning. Apparently my sister uttered some expletives and was told that these things take time. Of course that escalated her and apparently she's vibrating she's so angry. Can't say as I blame her. After all, what part of "you can't do probate twice" do they not understand?? Oh, and the man who so wanted to connect with her according to an email yesterday, is out of the office until Monday. My sister tried to reach him several times yesterday.

And so it goes. I never liked that particular bank. I like them less now. I may say which one at some point. Of course, you can get this crap at any big corporate business.

And....it's the week before Christmas.

Yes, I get that we want the best service all the time but, between Dec 13 and Jan 5 in many corporations you are dealing with reduced staff and often junior staff

I can understand your frustration, had enough of it with bank and city before them with our house.

For me, I found that I had to listen to my spouse coz trying to push it along did no one any good

Sorry Jayne, while I understand what you're saying, it's not helpful. I know there's reduced staff and all that. They have the needed documentation. There is no need to continue to keep the account locked unless they're in the business of thievery.

Our transfer of funds was locked for 7 days (or so). Frustrated me to no end. Seems to be a new protocol due to all the bank fraud. Wish they had told me about it when they knew we were working on a sale. Hoping that your escalations work for you @Northwind

re brownies, cookies, etc. I should ask my family member if he is still eating 1/2 a cookie before bed. He said it helped him sleep well.

If they were merely holding funds for 5 to 7 days, that would be fine. That's a protocol thing. In our case they are asking for something that cannot be provided. Furthermore, they have all the documentation they need. They want a probate. A probate was done. They have been given information about the court case which explains things. They have also been given two letters from our lawyer. They no longer have any reason to hold the funds other than to stonewall.

I suppose the bank holding the funds is in Ontario?

Well head office is in Ontario. The branch is in BC. The estate people at head office were the ones who said probate was required. When they received the last letter from our lawyer in Ontario, it went to the legal department. So, the will was Ontario, our lawyer is Ontario, court was Ontario.......

I believe the rules are similar across the country.
