Keep in mind there are COVID meds too, the criteria seems to be ever changing so best to check out what it is when actually sick and not rely on what was posted a few weeks ago.
Hopefully you won't get it and she will recover soon!
Yes, and they have to be taken asap, within the first 5 days, so even when symptoms are not ”that bad” yet. Check the official website for a number to call.

I am so thankful that my recliner at home is comfortable after my rather acrobatic fall today. We were walking from the truck to the restaurant when I tripped over a tree root. I thought I'd catch myself and avoid a full fall. Wrong. I landed in some variation of splits or extreme runners hurdle. My right hamstrings were stretched further than they wanted. Ouch. Soooo I have a scraped left knee and right calf. Figure that one out. My left knee has a goose-egg and my right shin has road rash. I didn't break anything. I'm hoping that the fact I can walk (like and old lady) means I didn't tear anything. Ice tonight has helped. I guess living by the motto "go big or go home" really shouldn't be applied to falls.

Ouch. Hopefully a bit of rest and then some movement later will have you back to normal.

Good morning! For those who have contracted covid, have taken a tumble, or who are getting the runaround from the medical professionals, we offer support, and a place to vent. For new friendships coming via WC2 and offspring of WC2,we give thanks, For the other topics we offer a listening ear. For all, there is tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or whatever hot beverage you need. All is ready, c'mon in.

Imagine those that have tumbled out of sacred society ... anti socialists locked up in an autonomous world?

They create a troubling world from the alternate side of the quantum field ... by chance when given it! Turbulence ...

In half-lives these decompose ... and start the other way on the hump ... they all come to it ... doing stuff by rote ... going round and round without change ... sets the time and rhythm for them out there ... our reason for being down here?

Helios is like clockwork ... and when the power is extracted ... strange relations share what's left.

Remember that book from the 80's on the left behind cliques ... resemble tic tox ... tis our time to show how time can be blown ... may drop out as hard stuff ... the fallacy of trumping?

What goes up ... comes to what? We really don't know as we ignore future! Live for presence ... presents? It may reflect or rebound as generating a rabbi thole ...

Expect the unexpected ... a vast unknown in Hebrew texts ...

Imagine a dog named trump ET winning at Westminster as a bloodhound in a world where brains avoid blood ...

It is a syndrome that can cause neural damage ... explaining death of War mongers! Mars the scene ... a mental feature beyond normal means ...

Hope the healing is going well Northwind. Falling is so dangerous for each of us. But my sister and I have had falls that we laughed our way through. Recently, she was picking up a huge takeout order for her family, while her extremely strong, agile son waited in the truck. She missed a step and went sprawling, including sending the food hither and yon. When she rescued what was still edible, and assured several onlookers that she was okay, she went to the truck, where her son was listening to music, and had no idea what had happened! She tells the story with her typical sense of humour, and we enjoy a good chuckle, knowing, of course, that she is okay.

I tested positive this morning. A bit of a sore throat, bit tired, and a little stuffed up.

Went for an exploratory walk in our back section after a heavy downpour finished. Used the new plant identification app on my phone to identify some of the plants and trees there. We have a yellow hawkweed and an orangey hawkweed called Fox and Cubs, Swamp Oak seedlings, Bur Oak, buckthorn (which I will work at eliminating), false baby's breath (which looks pretty back there with masses of small white flowers mixed with the purple vetches but I hate around our garden as it is so invasive), a saskatoon, nannyberry, white ash (young tree, hopefully will not get infected for a few years by emerald ash borer), American basswood, and common choke cherry. I have several more to check out. There is a lot of bur oak and several basswood trees so the loss of the black ash trees will not be so bad when it happens. There are several milkweed plants scattered around the area. I will carefully transplant the ones surrounded by poison ivy before I cover the poison ivy patch with black plastic. More heavy rain as I type this.

Now to start working on my service for July 3.

Falling is so dangerous for each of us.

I am very mindful of that after my fall this spring. In fact, every time I cough. And I had a bone density done, and although I don't have osteoporosis, I do have lower density bones, so I've upped my calcium (more greens, largely, which is fine) and vitamin D.

Hope you have a relatively mild illness and a quick recovery, jim. Your "back section" sounds wonderful. Milkweed do not transplant very successfully in my opinion, and to do so successfully you'd probably have to bring some of the poison ivy with it, so you'd have to be really careful not to spread the ivy. You may want to delay covering the poison ivy with plastic, and waiting until you have ripe seed pods on the milkweed in August.

I hate tree diseases. I remember the death of all of the elm trees here so long ago, and now, every time you're in a forested/treed area, you are forced to look at the trees and figure out how thin and bare it's going to look like without the ash. (And, around here, the other tree not looking good are maples.)

Most of the ash trees are along the border between our yard and our neighbour's yard with most of them on her side. There is one tall one on her side that is currently dying and one on the bank near the bridge. Most of the trees towards the front of the lot are oak trees, possibly bur oak. We have some maples mixed with the ash trees

What an interesting selection of green things! Be well.

Before heading to BC for the wedding, I planned to get black poly and cover as much of the poison ivy as I could. The hedge bedstraw that I have been trying to get out of the garden formed masses of tiny white flowers. It looked so pretty I decided to wait for the blooms to finish before covering the poison ivy.

The yard will probably provide surprises for years. Our neighbourhood fox cut across our backyard just before sunset.

Good morning! For those with positive test result, we hope for mild symptoms (if any) and short downtimes. For those who recover from falls, glad they weren't more serious than they were. For garden plans involving poison ivy, please be careful. The coffee cart is up and running, come help yourself.

What about those with negative intimations ... hints about corrupt powers?

We are told by a faction we shouldn't know ... guess Hu ... thus sacred statements for those that didn't wish to know ... and it incarnates (appears) they don't as an essence ... ghosting thoughts! It is said there is reason for the break ... a crack in difficult domains --- Lenard Cohen (defining nard)! Sometimes balls, Cajon's, or things made of fatty acids ... like fat heads? Where do the words and communications hide? Babble Lon ... it is as catty route ... scat here ... scat there as folk cannot learn too much at ones ... once? That unity would be too much ... intimidating ... thus intimates must be limited ... go figure that!
