Loved ones make a lot of bad choices and I have experienced losing a loved one because of it. It doesn't mean we should be shifting the rule just because of someone's age. Particularly when I said, there are others who do not have a choice.
We also have many people right now suffering because of the choices made by others.

Age was just one example....there are many others, in this case also the refusal of a vaccine. Just saying, ethics are hard to define sometimes.
 
Here's a recent example.
My body, my choice, someone decides they don't want to go to hospital, they die at home. Natural consequence of choosing to not get help.

Then there's someone who goes to the emergency room and doesn't get help.

I care about making changes for the latter, for the former that was their choice. Ditto with the transplant issue. It's not even like oh you didn't get a vaccine 10 years ago so you can't get the transplant. It's literally you have the choice now and won't take it.
 
Welp, Julia Westlin just got unsubbed. I was excited to see that the Swedish-Canadian singer had recorded Oh Canada. Then I read the description saying that she did it in support of the truckers protest. Sorry, but this is just supporting a bunch of whiners and wimps. My employer has a vaccine mandate being phased in and there's been like one resignation that I have heard of connected to it. If it is good enough for office workers and home care, I don't see why truckers, who move about the continent and are therefore a potential vector for spreading disease, should be exempted.
 
It is a resistant sector that separates responsibility from reason ... why some powerful leaders don't get it ... too resistant to knowing the responsibility of their position?

My old career councillor raised this matter as they counselled so many able people being freely packaged off to place the inexperienced in those spots with little consequence on the concerns ... thus more Eire to be made (read it as you like) desire being an overwhelming power ...

Generates an underworld of buried sentient resistant to sapient s ... that can all be lost in a hex of spelling according to law ... thus we doodle away times!
 
And for those who are wondering what I am babbling about, see link below. They are passing London today and if I was more socially inclined, I would consider mounting a counter-protest.

 
To every action a counter ... some right some left so as to give a life of free choice to learn about misinformation and other crap ...

Thus the 4 sum as TU Tu much for those on pedestals ... only 2-4's ... bared poorly! Maybe bier ... then bifurcation as the sectors go their separate ways since they can't get it together for the greater good ... destruction will humble it ... we appear to be heading in that vector and true to belief ... don't know it ... loving the alien ... may be enlightening ... especially in strange time like we've created ... hollow cast?

Nothing in it m'n ... empty expressions by those declaring they can improve things ... under their auspices of naivete, innocence and ignorance!

Need we cite examples? Some counters cannot be observed from here ... androgynous split as to create friction as endogeneity?

There's a word debated previously ... may depend on balance of androgens ... epinephrine? Little stuff that circulates like sapient when balanced ... creating mental-emotional stability ... and also the powerfully unstable ... lessons on how not to do it?

Would anyone under such power take note? Thus vast fields of polity as a Wahl ... very resistant as it takes a lot of head banging to get something into that item ... bel ringers? The Browns sang about "M"!

I'm out west so I have several friends posting pro-convoy crap. One person unfriended me. Aw shucks. :p I'm a little concerned about what will happen tomorrow. Not losing sleep over it though.
 
It's a touchy situation seeing as we depend on truckers to transport our goods. Not sure what percentage of truckers support this, but usually in these things, it's much less than the majority.

I listened to the Canadaland episode on it. Interesting on east vs west. Here it's pretty hard to avoid hearing something about it. There are also 2 - very different issues which is something I wasn't aware of.
 
I haven't updated recently. I am happy to say that I got my booster in early January. I am 1.5 Moderna and 1 pfizer. All is good. I recognize that i can still get it, but, hopeful that if I do the vaccines will reduce impact.

I also have become aware of a death from covid that is 2-degrees of separation away. i don't see the people who knew this individual other than through church on-line forums. I am sorry for their loss, but, also aware that the more aware people become the more likely it is they will be attune to controls.

I have also had 1-degree of separation of covid illness, but no one needed hospitalization. People were sick, but, not overwhelming sick. There were a number of these instances with my nieces and nephews on both sides of the family since christmas -- some in the states, some in ontario.

I think I am pro for one of them although I haven't heard enough about it. Considering the flooding I can see where there are issues.

Yeah, I think it's really unfortunate the BC convoy isn't getting much attention because of the national one. Canadaland is the first I was aware of the BC one and really don't have much for details.

My understanding is both convoys started in BC around the same time. I don't have details to know exactly when to know if the specific dates overlapped.
 
Are convoys for the greater good or for individual interests?

In reality ... the greater good is nothing ... everyman for himself except in the image 've nation lost! Thus it goes we've lost it folks and so down the pipes it goes ... pure disconnection dissociation as most follow the trump card ...
