One of my team went for his booster today and said it was so crowded, it was probably the riskiest place he had been in a while (this is a guy who has had two close contacts but came out negative both times).
Imagine mysterious fey conditions and they we're out and gone ... flighty?Ours was running its usual clockwork fashion. I had a 12:15 appointment, got there at 12:10, social distancing in line outside, you must add a clean surgical mask to whatever you've got on, distancing is practiced inside as well, they've reduced the wait time to 5 minutes from 15, I was out of there at 12:31, and that included the negotiation/consultation about immune-suppressive therapies.
They screwed mine up. Found out waaay after. I went in and gave right info. Here tacrolimus only counts if used orally (or injected not sure if that's a possible option for it) topical doesn't count. So, I got my booster today. Moderna, where the first two were Pfizer. Interesting little side note, though. She asked me if I was on any immuno-suppressant drugs to which I replied "only topically for my eczema". She looked on her list, and sure enough, tacrolimus was on the list, and so it was suggested that I should get a full dose, instead of a half dose for my booster. So, it was so, but I wondered if @Northwind and @ChemGal both got full doses for their boosters?
Yeah I don't get why the provinces differ so much.Well, she had the printed list from the Health Unit, and it didn't differentiate between delivery modes. Frankly, the sight of my left arm, which had to be bared to get shot, might have been evidence that my immune system is clearly quite out of whack.
Why?Yeah I don't get why the provinces differ so much.
Btw only Moderna has different doses. 12+ Pfizer is one dose across the board.
Just how they were studied. Pfizer had less active ingredient in the shot to start with. Why?

I got a full dose. It kicked my butt the next day. I was fine, just tired on the day after that.
84 days is the number they are using and right now it looks like it is still LTC. It was announced at the same time as they made the third dose mandatory for staff.ON has moved on to 4th doses for some. Minimum wait after 3rd dose is somewhere around 3 months.
