As of fence it could be baffling as biblical ... being the word says some love is required in the process in stating things in a manner so those that didn't wish to know ... wood knot ...

Thus the gem is lost in the great mythical tree ... in the grain of unknown ... hung up on their own branch ... limbic, hung up on the psychic ... perhaps the epinephrine ... waves of excitability?

Boxing Day. The term originally coined when fistfights broke out at early post-Christmas Sales. Okay, no. Actually, I forget the origin of the term. For me, it has always mostly been a sit back and enjoy day, though this year and last, that has described Christmas, too.

I suspect hidden uncertainly in the field of linguistics ... may be the drive by the industrial militant mentality to box you behind the ears to get you moving and out there to cut some wood.

This may lead to great myths about woodcutters and carpenters and the troubles they get into when considering the word "GOM" and how gnomery it is ... causing piles and Montgomery's as tacky concepts ... with hanging items like "-ings" in the great tree!

There we go set a watchman ... as beyond that we don;t have a clue about what happens next as we cannot even put the present in some form of order ... it is not a ducky situation!

As an after thought or consideration of side interests ... I'm reading an American Scientific (special edition) on indeterminism and other denied thought experiments. Special perceptions do pop up ... spontaneously ... to demonstrate lack of reason in this portion of the infinite!

It is said by demonstration of divination that opposites will depart ... and from out there ... it is only then that the insanity can be observed. Isn't that crazy?

In general there is a great drive to manipulate the doings and thus severe hammer-ings!

In short ... we still know little ... some standing trees may groan in the wind ... defiant against the rule of silence when there is no one there to listen ... thus nothing hears it out of great loneliness! This may be noted when bodily out of it ... politicians search this condition of virtue ... virtually (well you know, even if you do not exclaim it).

Good morning from the snow globe that is Vancouver Island. It was a very white Christmas yesterday so we stayed put. We'll have our Christmas dinner on Tuesday. We did enjoy our traditional Christmas strata for breakfast. Hubby made a delicious spinach lasagne for dinner. I used the snow day to finish a bag I started on Christmas eve. In the annals of "could 2021 get any suckier?", my person lifelong hero, Bishop Desmond Tutu, has died at the age of 90. We should have had at least another decade of his wisdom. :cry:
 
Yeah, not the nicest news to wake up to, but Tutu stands as one of the giants of the 20th century, I think, so leaves quite a legacy. His country's current leaders need to pay more attention to his example, though

Just returned from a lovely feast at my daughter's with my baby sister. We let sister dine and dash as she's got to be up for work at 3:45 tomorrow.

And she sent both of us home with generous leftovers. Yum.
 
Had a lovely Christmas with my family. Drove to my sister's place both days, not the nicest conditions especially on the rural roads but it is beautiful there, especially with all the trees covered in frost and snow. Her house has an old style wood burning stove-like fireplace and deer show up regularly to eat from the feeder although that picture isn't so peaceful as her 2 dogs go crazy over the deer.
7/8 of us did covid tests first, one of the kids refused after having to have it done at an assessment center numerous times.

My parents will be taking the kids in a few days, sister is too busy with work despite having booked time off before and after. I'm guessing she will have time off before the end of Feb. So likely just Chemguy and I for the Ukrainian Christmas celebration, not sure what we will do for it. I didn't make borscht this year so may get around to that.

Anybody going shopping today?
I will carefully check out the stores around supper time. My work shoes died yesterday and I don’t want to use some I use outside of work. Have to hit the stores before returning to work Wednesday.
 
I refuse to work and thus the business monsters reject me ... maybe my thoughts in fringe NG (redacted gerund)?

One with experience is not well accepted ...
 
The snow has let up here at the moment. Mrs. M is grabbing some groceries but that's the only shopping planned for today.
