That is an interesting potential human rights violation, Waterfall.

I am hoping that this vaccine passport idea is dropped once COVID subsides.
 
Not for international travel, maybe. It might be just one of those things that get added to the rules about different inter-country travel.
 
@Waterfall have you been asked for it during an interview? I would think a way most companies would avoid any issues would be to state requirements, get verbal confirmation, and then proof could come later when things like SIN are also being collected.

I normally never get asked my age, but this week I was asked for proof of vaccination by the interviewer before the interview started.

I wonder how they would respond if you said something like I am vaccinated, and will provide proof upon acceptance of employment?

Would some powers consider that cheeky? Thus they go on with information they would never begin to understand ...

The career councilors found it strange that a person of my education, abilities and intellect would not consider being re employed!

Is that a silly question considering the abuse from well-to-do powers without a clue ... except maybe a clue for treason?

Ex[plains the populations of understanding sub doers ... I did not hear a call to be an administrator with large commissions ... I just wished to keep up with cosmological inflation .. and thus out done by the irrational exuberance to proceed without a clue! That's reality?

The intellect sinks ... or that's how it appears to go down in the myth ...

Not sure, but it would probably cause the interview to end right there. By the way I was offered the job, but this all occurred to me afterward.
To be honest, I dont mind providing it....just not sure why our ages are required on it?
 
Was asked once in a job interview if I had children. Very awkward! I answered the question but made it apparent I knew the question was out of line. I was offered the position but didn't take it. Man, this was a long time ago! Over 30 years

Depends on the attitude of the people. It could also be as something simple as not having the info right with them at that time.

Can you imagine such things as being deficit? Thus holes and flaws in reality! Lord forgive me because I didn't know ... is this a grand excuser? Maybe just pretentious ...

If they were not sentient ... should they have landed such a position? It is the way it goes ... the numinous lead ... as if afire with kerygma ... a charismatic item of contention!

We must be silent about the topical arrangement ...

Except that what ID doesn't have DoB on it and here in Ontario, we must present photo ID along with vaccine cert or QR. So, still lots of date of birth floating around here.
 
Imagine if you didn't know where you came from ... except as a stray child of passion as play doubt ... and one is never quite sure without genetic testing ... a testy situation!

Was Caesars sea whipped into a tempest by Marah? Mariah is a different wind ...
 
We talked about that this morning in Bible study. Difference between matrilineal and patrilineal systems. It has, throughout most of human history, been much easier to establish the mother of a child than the father, yes?

True although easy enough to just flash it fairly quickly to confirm name or cover the birth date.

I would imagine its just your date of birth and not your age that’s on your card. And- is there not an age where you would like them to be sure that you are not older than what you are? Or maybe you are looking a lot younger than what you are. Whatever, I think if you are saying you have 30 years experience on the job, they will assume you are not 35.

I am actually quite happy that’s on there. We had to submit our proof to our employer ( health authority) over an internet form. I have a hyphenated first name. My health card has the full name on it, but the proof of vaccination only printed my first half of my first name. My employer only knows me by my second half of my first name. I hope my DOB will help them not to think I had a sibling take the shot. ( could still be the a twin, though). Waiting to see if I need to send them a copy of my health card, if they question my proof.
 
Congratulations Waterfall on the job offer. Did you accept it? Job huntin is painful and harder work than most jobs. I am glad my daughter only had to do it for a bit over a month this last time.
