I don't know where you are, waterfall, but I can categorically state that my Health Unit would literally have kittens at such statements...

This is the second time I've encountered an employee not wearing a mask at this location. The first one, when I asked said she's not vaccinated, wont wear a mask and was the one who took the plastic barrier down.
I'm thinking of calling public health in the morning....should I?

I am all for doing so, especially when people are unvaccinated.
 
I came across a customer today with an exposed nose. When I asked him to pull up his mask, he said he was "covering the best he could". HIs partner was properly masked. My old guy has a nephew with a very full beard, like waist-length, to the point that he can tie it in a knot. He can cover his nose...

I would absolutely complain to your health unit.

I will, even though they are consistently the lowest price in town. I was thinking of just using the debit at the pump(tonight I also wanted a chocolate bar) but I dont think I want to support a place that so brazenly defies mask policy.

If you stop supporting them, make sure that the management of the store knows exactly why. They don't pay attention to customers who disappear (because they really can't track them); they do pay a lot of attention to complaints (especially if you spread them over a couple of sites, like yelp, google, etc.) in addition to an in-person and/or written/telephoned complaint.

Ontario is not out of the woods. Anywhere. Winter is coming, cases will rise.

Good ideas!

As far as Ontario being out of the woods, I agree, but brace yourself....Ford is about to allow all hell to break loose by relaxing restrictions.

As long as they're relaxed for double vaccinated, masked (indoors) and distanced...
 
Germany has repeated events of parties where they allow vaccinated and recovered people only, but lifted masks and distancing, that turned into large crowd of new infections ( breakthroughs).
 
Mandatory education on such matters is highly resistant due to the overwhelming urge to know of nothing strange or NU ta you ...

Some of us are understudies of such subtle information that is often buried ... understood poorly? Perhaps they have no depth ...

As far as loosening restrictions, I personally think we should wait and see how we survive the upcoming winter months and then respond appropriately in the spring....I just think it's harder to reinstate more restrictions again if we get another surge than remove them.

But imagine the hard liner attitude that they had enough of whatever it is ... then it is rejected as alien!

I haven't heard of large scale breakthroughs outbreak events here, but breakthrough infections are certainly happening.
I don't know why organizations like WHO state breakthrough infections are rare. Rare has specific definitions although it's set by organizations so it varies. I want to see WHO's data that backs up their claims.
 
Bugs me quite a bit that more info about breakthrough infections isn't being shared. Who are these people? Are they elderly/ institutionalized/ medically fragile? How sick are they?

A few general statements have been made but I feel pretty much in the dark. Here in ON the percentage of fully vaccinated daily cases is rising.

Just busted ... endogenous running wild! Accept it as a function of beginning power ... partial extraction from genes?

Something to get how head about ... and then folks lose it ... head that is ... gone! It is popular so one doesn't have to care or take any responsibility ... very politicized! Especially compared to intellect ... that goes down ...

Then there is withholding clause and also letting it go ... there are various forms of hording ...

Imagine ocean vales as Oh Sean's veils and rifts! Often things are lost in the ruff ...

One must tighten up on their linguistics so as not to be understood ... understanding is not popular in those that would sooner lose it ... thus alien activities and processes ... if they'd 've known ... would they have Dune different? Alas and anon that's behind us ...
