Good morning from the Central Standard Timezone. We've been in EDT then CDT until now and travelling. We crashed early last night and slept well in the cooler space. A ten or so hour sleep is so restorative. We are looking forward to a visit with a friend who is starting her work with a UCCan church in Regina.

We're all set up near Regina in a nice community campground. We went in to town for some groceries and such. It's nice here. It seems most people have ditched their masks. It's odd after being in Ontario where masks are mandatory indoors. We're wearing ours.

After this we're heading north in the province. We'll be a couple hours from @KayTheCurler. We'll be heading there Sunday and leaving Wednesday morning. We'll be staying at friends'. It would be nice to connect if that's possible
Where will you actually be Northwind? I could try to get my guy to drive me there (but don't get excited).

Good morning, all! Summertime is moving right along. Let us enjoy what is left of it. The coffee cart is up and ready, help yourself. (Note: Pumpkin Spice is not yet available, but the days are coming.)

Pumpkin Spice is not yet available
In a sane, normal world, this would never come, but I can't blame it on the pandemic. More probably Starbucks. I've said it before and I shall say it again; Pumpkin spice belongs in pumpkin pies and other pumpkin-based baking. Nothing else.

I can't comment on coffee but I like pumpkin spice in my tea, not as a latte. Probably not much of a difference of PS and the spices in chai. Timmies has had a PS donut before which I guess counts as baking. I got PS miniwheats before which I liked. Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger go pretty well in a lot of foods.

I'm not that fond of chai anymore either, depending upon what is in it. I find I prefer fruity flavours (lime, lemon, blackberry) in tea rather than spices or overly sweet flavours. Vanilla is kind of the exception to that. A couple of my favorite flavoured blends do have vanilla in them (Sunday Tea from Tea Haus and Cream of Earl Grey from David's).

I love one or two pumpkin spice lattes during the season. I love spicy chai. Fruit teas are okay in the summer or on occasion. Good old Irish Breakfast is my go to tea

Good old Irish Breakfast is my go to tea
Yeah, really these days I mostly drink breakfast type teas (Scottish, Irish mainly, though Tea Haus has a nice house breakfast blend, too). Then there's Wakoucha, which is Japanese red tea (what East Asians call black tea). Don't even have any Earl Grey around right now.

I'm the opposite I'm not a fan of a lot of the fruity teas although I like them for iced tea.

I'll drink anything, really, although my taste preferences run to floral. Black tea with roses, rose or jasmine green tea.

I have a tea with rose petals, haven't tried it yet. I like rose hips in my tea, my sister has promised me a bunch from her place, need to check on how to use them properly. Jasmine green tea is always nice.
One I've really been enjoying lately is Cookies and Cream - Black tea, Sumac berries, Cornflower, Safflower, Red plum petals, Natural flavors
I have no idea what the natural flavours add. It gives a sensation of something with a bit of fat, although it doesn't look oily. Not really something to pair with dessert, as it has a balance all on it's own. I find it really satisfying, like a tea and snack in one.

Grrr. David's just reminded me why I don't buy there any more. My son recommended a "vanilla orchid oolong" back when he gave me a David's gift card for Father's Day and now it's been discontinued.

But, getting back to where this all started, they have their Pumpkin Chai in the store again. And a (ewwww)Pumpkin Earl Grey.

I do have that gift card to spend, though, so I'll see which of my old favorites they still have. I see Buddha's Blend (white tea blended with jasmine green and, IIRC, hibiscus) is still around and that's a favorite of mine.

The people that get upset over discussions about and over Tae ... are numerous! It appear when this is when complaints are heard ...

Wow. Seems we're going to have to work a larger tea cabinet into the next WC2 budget.

Good morning, all! The coffee cart is ready, with brewed coffee, steeped tea, and hot water for those who'd lke to bring their own tea leaves. Some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are available too. Help yourself.

And tea lephs bound into leave with a bounce ... as the wind move the metaphorical tree ... and in multiple metaphors few can understand the great unknown ... the remaining mystery ... life itself! Now if we questioned the nature of self as it appears in the germane IHC of time ... we find nick ole Odious ... Odi ... innate an O' Din ... illustrating demon ole logic thing gone bad ... but a virtue all unknown.

As we can't see our self from the subjective point ... unless one leafs through the stacks of history that remains hidden in myth ... for the truth cannot be told to appease the gods of what was laid down ... that's the law of gravis ... and grief to be noted ...

Yet this must go on until we stop ... that's the spot we're in ... Tae toby had in the crossing of night persona ... Eire a Buss be heard! Some say Erebus to save space ... god preserve us ...

I'm so glad people don't know what slips away as sort of psyche recession ... dipping! Swing lo' sweet chariot ... and so it carried on ... what? Iconic item ... so small you mist the detailing ... sectarian fallacy!

Greetings from near Victoire, SK. We drove down a gravel and dirt road to get here. It was raining.

Now we know why our friends told us about a good truck wash on our route.
